How'd you day go Pam? I know you were thankful that it was Friday. We went to the services at the post for Veterans day. It was really nice with several speakers. The rain kept some peoople away but we still had a nice turnout. Ate something aftwerward that didn't agree with my stomach and we were going to go to Applebee's for a free dinner for Rich, but neither wanted to eat that early. We both had the leftover Chinese food from last nite and I shouldn't have eaten that. Didn't sleep good last nite so am tired to boot. Rich went back to the post and I stayed home. We were gong to meet another couple at the Moose but not wwith the way my stomach was feeling. Even if I didn't drink, I wouldn't have been good company. No plans for the weekend but to play dominos and I am cooking. Got to find something that isn't heavy in calories for those two that are still on WW. Can't stand this! Have a good weekend. Well tomorrow is Friday or should I say today is Friday as it's after midnite. It's Veteran's Day and we will be celebrating at our post at noon for the ceremony. It'll be held inside as we are expecting rain and gusty winds from Nichole. I'm sure the place will be crowded. Refreshments will be served after. I hope you can attend a service somewhere around your area but I know you'll be working Pam so it probably won't be happening for you. Whatever you do after work, have a good time. I'm gonna see if Applebee's is going to have their dinners for Vet's - more and more places aren't doing anything for our Veterans these days. I remember seeing lots of places that have free breakfasts, luches or dinners for Veterans and I only see a few that are offereing same. Well how did the voting go in your state Pam? Reps won in NC as far as the Senate goes. Think we lost the House by one. I cleaned house most of the day and Rich was with his brother at the VFW and we both went for hair cuts. My hair was past my shoulders and I got it cut to my chin. It's gonna take some time for me to get used to it as I always hate when I get my hair cut so short. One day I'll just keep waiting and let it grow. Have a sweet nite. Hugs, Wendy
