Beautiful little Hummers. Thank you for sharing, Pam. I had many in the back of my house who came back each year. But, search as I might, never found a nest.
Our Maritime Provinces have suffered complete devastation. In absolute state of emergency. Let's hope Ian will be more clement.
I don't think I'll have to refill our Hummingbird Feeder, again, this year, as when I opened the back door to our yard, yesterday, I was immediately greeted by our resident Hummer, who flew diredtly into my face, not 2 feet away, looked directly at me then flew away, as if to say, "We'll be leaving soon. See yuns next year"...It is definitely Fall, here. Temp at 38*, right now.
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TREMENDOUSLY TASTY TUESDAY, and are having a TRANSFORMATIONAL WEEK, my friend...
Hi there. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its a nice one here. Just up in the 80's. And the nights get down in the 50's. Not much going on here. Just getting on here and sending out messages. Take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your day. Hugs, Cheryl
Watching football before we go play dominos today - Rich should record the Packers/Bucs as the Packers are his team when they play later today. Our friends don't watch fosotball anymore so we'll miss the game. I'll still root for Brady though. Sunny quiet Sunday here with lots of sun and a nice breeze. Hope you are having a wonderful day and enjoying the outside.
I went out to shoo the wasp away from one of the feeders, and a hummer came right away - like he was waiting to get a drink. So he came and got a drink and then flew right in front of my face and stopped as to chck me out then flew over my head and fluttered there for a couple of seconds. He did this twice. It was so cool. He seems to recognize me and was saying thanks. I know this sounds crazy but he's come around close to me before, but not like this. How was your Saturday, Pam? Do anything interessting or go anywhere? It as 75 and real pretty today. guess you are far enough inland that if that storm does come close to the US, you'll be safe. Have a good rest of the weekend, Pam and have a good time dong something fun!. Hugs, Wendy
I've only seen about 3-5 birds around our feeder, and they all seem to look like the 5th bird in your graphic, except the males, they have a red throat. I think it's because just 1 family of birds live close by. At our last place, we use to have a gaggle of the little Hummers...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a STEADFASTLY SENSATIONAL SATURDAY, and are having a SALUBRIOUS WEEKEND, my friend...
Hi there. Well it doesn't feel like Fall today. Its in the 90's. I would like it to be in the low 80's. That is supposed to happen this next week. I hope you are having a nice Friday afternoon and will enjoy your weekend. We aren't doing anything special, just going to be at home. Well take care my friend and many hugs to you, Cheryl
