Not an exciting day Pam. Did go to WalMart to get a few beauty things - now for them to work! kinda late but one can hope. Stopped at the new library in town - it just opened a month or so ago and I wanted to check it out. Thought it would be bigger and have more books. I did check out a Taste of Home cook book. Went thru it quickly and did mark a few thigns that sounded intereting. I'll take a closer look later a it doesn't have to be back for 3 weeks. Good afternoon. Had a long day yesterday, but my hubby's doctor visit went good. Then we went car shopping and came home with a new car. Now I have to get used to driving something different. Went to Walmart this morning and it rained so I had to figure out how to use the windshield wipers.Lol. Always something new to try out. Got my laundry going in the dryer and got a nap taken so I'm doing good for the day. I hope you are having a good day and the heat has let up on you. Howdy Pam - or should I sy good evening. Hope you had a good Tuesday - not much gong on here. Was a beutiful 82 degree day - no rian or humdidity - same as yesterday. Made split pea soup for and watched the hummers. Rich worked with our friend again on his motor home - so it wa a quiet day again. Have a good evenig and a good Wednesday. Hugs, Wendy
Howdy lady - how 'd your day go? I see you haven't still gotten any rain. We remained dry today also. Very pleasant day but the days are getting shorter. Think the hummerss were waiting for me to give them fresh /more food b/c as soon as i put up fresh they were swarming around! Went food shoping and spent $99.93 - had a $100 with me so that worked out just right. Dinner went well at dominoes last nite and everyone liked the baked spaghetti and apple pie. Stopped to get vanilla ice cream as I know the other guy would have kiddingly said something but really would have meant it. So now I have most of a half galleon of vanilla ice cream left. Guess I could make myelf a chocolate Sundae, huh? Bet you could use some ice cream with the weather you've been having!. Have a great Tuesday and sleep well. Good afternoon my friend. Its a hot afternoon here. Its 99* and breezy but we have several chances for rain this week. And cooler temperatures. I look forward to that. Won't be on here tomorrow as we have to go to Amarillo, Texas (which is a 3 hour drive one way) to my husbands diabetic doctor appointment. So that will take all day. I had a busy morning so just now getting around to visiting with everyone. Not much going on this afternoon, but I did get a much needed nap in. Tulips is my favorite flower. On my birthday last May 7th , I received tulips through special delivery from abroad. One of my suitor sent it and he really makes my day. :)
