There are fluffy white clouds in a blue sky and the temp is a lovely 81. I've been making baked spaghetti for the last coupe of hours. Never made it before and any new reipe takes me a long time as I have to keep referring to the recipe. It's almost finished baking....hope it turns out good. The apple pie is on the counter getting to room temp and I know he'll want vanilla ice cream on his, so I'll have to stop at the store to get that an texas toast. Can you tell I haven't been shopping in a while? Need to go find something to eat as we won't be having dinner till 6 or 6:30. Hope you havea lovely day, Pam.

It was a nice 85 degrees today with lots of nice sunshine. No rain, so I must get out and water the plants tomorrow. Made an apple pie for dessert for tomorrow, as I'm cooking. Now all I have to do is make the ziti so it won't be such a stresfull day. I used some apples that I froze months agao and some fresh.. Wish I could taste it beforehand so I can buy something else! I also need to make more food for the birds as I put the lat of what I had in the one feeder. Have a great rest of the weekend, Pam

Woke up this morning just fine, then got so tired a while later that I ended up going back to bed for a nap. The high was only 76 and we had another thunderstorm this afternoon. This just mght be the end of our summer as it's gonna be in the low 80's for the rest ofthe week. Going out this evening with friends at the Moose - just need to make dinner first as they don't serve food there like at the VFW. Schoold haven't started here yet - at least I haven't seen any school buses around here or out on the road but they should start soon - usually around the end of the month. Have a good weekend Pam. Good afternoon to you. Hope it is a nice one for you. I have noticed the days are getting shorter and the nights here are cooler. We sleep with the windows open at night and oh do I enjoy the fresh air. Not much going on here. My husband was here for dinner or some people call it lunch. Was nice to see him even though he came to get the tires that came by FedEx. :) I have all of my housework done. Do need to vaccumm so I will get that done soon. We had another thunderstorm complete with lightning this evening while we were out for dinner with our group. Went to Ruby Tuesday - there were 11 of us and I think the waitress was overwhelmed with that many people. They should have given us two waitress but they were shorthanded as it was. Alot of our food was cold and it's not like it came out at all the same time. No refills were given or even asked if we wanted any except those drinking beer and they told her they wanted refills. Oh well - everyone has a not so good experience once in a while. Honey did get the lawn mowed earlier this afternoon - he loves doing that and that's about all he does anymore. Going out with friends to the Moose tomorrow nite since they came back from their vacation. Have a good nite and fun Friday. hugs, Wendy
