I had a good and slightly busy day, Pam. Went to get a pedicure and wax so I'll be pretty (humph) for when I go on vacation. Some drama at the shop that wanted her color changed after everythign was done. I had an appointment at 1 and it was going on 1:30 when I asked her if someone else could give me my pedicure. So she started on me while the other gal was looking for the right color. All was good till we went in the back so I could get waxed. That's when the other gal went to the head tech and complained. So it only took a few more minutes and I was on my way. Went to the department store and got two tops and two pair of sandles - now I'm all set for my trip. Not sure when we'll be back - may stay a day or two later depending on what we find to do down there. Hpe your had a good day at work and will have a good Friday. A roe for a friend. Hugs, Wendy
Hi there. Its another warm afternoon here. Its cloudy but no rain. we could use some rain. Send some my way if you have any. Not much going on. We are going to have to get a new air conditioner soon. Ours is having problems. We just have a window unit. Right now I just have fans going. I was feeling kind of warm earlier so I plugged in my box fans around the house. Feels much better. Well, I will probably never see a sun rise again as I sleep late every day and get up late in the morning, so thanks for letting me see it. When I get up I can only stay in my robe for an hour or so, then I HAVE to get dressed and wash my face. Guess it's years of school then my job -- worked the 7 to 3:30 shift and unless I'm feeling bad, I don't go to bed till it's bedtime. I made beef stew for dinner and even though it was late when we ate - almost 7 - it turned out good. Had PT today and it went good, but now am hurting like crazy. Rich gave me a knee brace but what I need is a hip brace and they don't make them. Hope I'll feel better tomorrow. Called my doc this morning but missed his call back - some times my phone doesn't ring for some reason or I didn't hear it and no message was left. I'm on the phone with the pharmacy now to see if he called it in or not. And he didn't and didn't leave me a voicemail either. Have a good day at work tomorrow. There's nothing wrong with leftovers - sometimes they are even better when first made.
It was such a blessing last night to hear it raining. We are very dry here. And the temperatures are in the low 80's and 90's. To early for this heat.Its 86 here right now. And very windy. I hope you enjoy your day my friend and take care. Hugs, Cheryl

I put out some new solar lights. These in the front yard change color automatically. The video is very pretty.
While these in the back yard have an app that you can change the colors but they don't change automatically.

Kinda cold day here with a high of only 56 - not the usual for May but supposed to get warmer by the weekend. Probably in time for us to go to S.C. camping with our friends. As of now it's gonna rain almost everyday we will be there - let's hope it changes by then. It was a do nothing day - only made dinner while Rich was out - goe out everyday someplace. Today it was to meet his brother for drinks. Start with PT again tomorrow - it has helped some but I just think the end results will be a hip replacement. Hello there Pam I'm not doing much today but my hubby has he went to get gas for the mower then he wentr to the bank to make a deposit and when he came home we watchwed a little TV then I made meatballs and put them in the crock-pot then we went outside and raked the garden and put mesh down trhen we came inside and watched then at 2:00 I got the rest of supper going in the microwave and I made rice /w butter beans to go with the sauce & meatballs and while the rice was cooking I took my shower and after we ate we went upstairs to lay on the bed while we watched TV and played games on my phone until we're ready to go to bed. Its a warm and sunny afternoon here. Yesterday it got up to 100. To early for that. Right now its 88 and no breeze. I haven't been outside much because of the heat.
