It's been windy here too Pam, but not so much today. March is gonna go out like a lamb after all cause it'll be in the 60's tomorrow and 70's the day after. Hope Mother Nature will stay with the mild temps and no more cold! Had f/u visit with th doc re the x ray of my knee. Showed arthritis - guess it traveled down from my hip to my knee. Will probably end up getting shots there too. Had a small strip steak and a salad each for tonite's dinner - was just enough. Fried the steaks and it leaves the stove a mess - any pan frying does that. Till tomorrow - hugs good nite, Wendy
Good Evening Pam, Ceil & I were up at 7:30 this morning and we had our coffee while watching the news and while we were doing that our garbage & recycables went so I went outside and put our cans/bins away then went back into the house and finished my coffee then I went to the outpatient clinic to get my bloodwork done and on the way I stopped at the bank to cash a check and then I continued to the clinic and while I was at the clinic Ceil played Games on her phone while she watched TV and when I was done at the clinic I stopped at our Pharmacy and picked up our meds. then I went home and after I got home Ceil & I made peach cobbler and while it was cooling we got supper and now I'm here answering our comments while Ceil is in the bedroom watching TV and when I'm finished I'll join her in the bedroom and we'll play games on our phones until we're ready to go to bed. Hugs,Robert & Ceil
Today I'm taking a rest - me time (well I'll try). Been so running around with "little" things which altogether become "BIG" and take up time. A little bit of this and a little bit of that and poof! the day has gone.
As a child I loved walking thru the blubells. Tried to take some home but they don't bear/last picking.
You will get a new hair do here if you go outside. The wind is awful. I made a trip to go to Walmart as I needed a pair of black pants. We have a funeral to go to out of town on next Monday. I should of waited until Thursday when the wind isn't supposed to blow. There were places that fields were blowing dirt across the road and you could barely see the dotted line. Made me kind of nervous. But I made it home. I have clothes going in the washer and dryer now. Not even going to think about dusting. It would be pointless. Its 80 out today. Would be a great day to go outside if it wasn't for the awful wind. Well enough about the weather. I hope you have a great afternoon my friend and take care. Cheryl
Hi Pam - how was your weekend? Hope it went well and you got time to enjoy it and have some fun. Ours was a very busy one starting off with the oyster roast on Sat - stayed till 8pm then Sunday we went to look at a camper - was exactly what I wanted and was at a good price - private owner. Don't think honey will come off the purse though, even though I'll pay half ---soooo----. Had a new palyer at dominos Sunday nite and she came in last and I think I came in 4th out of 6. Nice change for me!! Today was a new dental appointment - it's a school really and had the most thorough exam I've ever had but theyare as expenive a my regular dentist as far as crowns are concerned. I go back in about a month so I might as well stay with them - they have a payment plan and I'll need it! Hope your days were as fun filled! The weather here was sunny but a bit windy and in the mid 50's. Seems to be better than snow!! Have beautiful dream Pam! Hugs, Wendy
I know You're listening from the other side So here I come, no longer will I hide Your guns are pointed straight at me Love always wins I had it all but I burned it down If we don't get lost then we don't get found We all have violence hiding deep within
You say, there is a distance You say, the space is much too wide I say, with no resistance I'm going to find You Love always wins I'm going to find You Love always wins
It's written and it's always been Love always wins
Woke up last nite and saw the stars for the first time in a long time - overcast a lot recently. Knew it would be cold as no cloud cover. Now beautiful sunny day all sparkly and bright.
Expect you're busy in your garden a-planting and tending. Hugs,
Hello Pam, a lovely Spring weekend for us except Sat. was chilly and very windy but overall nothing to complain about. The Bradford Pears are starting to bloom and the Spirea so looking quite Springy. Have a good new week.
Hello, hope you are doing well and having a lovely Sunday.. So far mine has been a lazy one so will have to get busy soon. At least I did get the yard mowed and some weed-eating done yesterday while it was nice and sunny. It is overcast today so I'm glad I didn't wait. Anyway, hope you enjoy the rest of your day and have a great week~~ hugs, debijo
Spent the day at the oyster roast that the VFW had today from noon till 3 pm. Of course we ended up staying till 8pm with friends and having a good time. There were so many folks there and everyone had a good time. Of coure we ate chicken and with two sides - not those snotty things - of course there were fried ones too but still that's a no-no. Do you eat oysters, Pam? They are caught fresh right here in the waters off the coast as a lot of the seafood is. Rich only eats fried shrimp so I get very little seafoood to eat. But I only eat a few things. The auxillary had a bake sale and made $480 and so much chicken was old they ran out and had to go in town . I sat at the bar with some friendss and we were doing shots - only had 3 but they were all different. Hey don't laugh, I wa a ble to make it just fine off the bar stool and back to my table! Hope your day was a wonderful as mine. We are gong to go look at a camper that is near where we play dominos tomorrow - it's just the right size and is a 2020 and not a lot of money. Hope we can get it but if not it wan't meant to be. Have a great Sunday and have a little fun instead of working all the time!! Hugs, Wendy
