Hi Pam

Had a good time partying last nite but couldn't get to sleep till the wee hours of the nite.  Made traditional dinner of pork, (chops) greens (asparagus)and black eyed peas.  Threw in some mashed potatoes with gravy.  Had 76 degree weather - but in for a good cool down soon. I slept till noon - just couldn't fall asleep last nite - even tried sleeping in the guest room.  Mostly cause the big dog was on my side of the bed and I had no place to put my feet and legs!  When I came back in, she was gone.  Finally went to sleep but had no idea when that was.  I did nothing for several hours till I started dinner.  I'm tired and want to go to bed now but I can''t - too early.  Have a wonderful new year.  New Year Hugs, Wendy

Everything goes wrong in my life. Unfortunately, I have Long Covid and feel very bad healthy. Unfortunately, this is not all: On Christmas day, my television has given the "mind", yet no new bought. Then was fall down the phone and does not work properly anymore. And ... my internet functions only partially, that's why I was unable to send comments, I hope for your understanding, thank you!

Resting up to go out tonite to celebrate the new year to come in.  Hopefully it'll be better thatn 2021 when we hoped it would be better than 2020!  

It's more than just another day.  Starting a new calendar is a  milestone.  Today you have a new year ahead.  A year of new adventures and new options.  Let go of what's holding you back and forge into a whole New Year.  Wish you a Happy 2022 New Year!

Happy New Year's Eve my friends. We aren't going to be doing anything special here tonight. Going to be a cold night here with a chance of freezing rain and snow. Stopping by to wish you a great last day of 2021.  Hope no tears will be shed for the year going out.  We got home today about 5:30 - took 8 hrs as we had to go pick up the dog from his daughter's place.  So good to be home and of course sleeping in our own bed.  Had a nice time whille in Jersey even if the weather wasn't the best the last couple of days.  But it never really got cold which is good for us.    Had a good Christmas eve and Christmas dinner at my sister's - she does such a wonderful job.   An I went out to dinner with my sons - each seperately but had leftovers which we took home with us and had for dinner tonite.  It rained, misted on the drive home, but otherwise was uneventful.  Stopped for a quick bit to eat on the way home and didn't stop after that.  I got my hair cut and colored by my friend who lives right down the street from my home in Jersey - got waxed too so I'll be looking good when the new year comes in.  We are supposed to go to the post for NYE celebration with our friends.  Right now I don't feel like going anywhere, but if I don't go, Rich won't go and I know he'll be disappointed - so I'll put my best face on and go - hope I feel different tomorrow and that it'll be just another Friday nite.  Hope you have a wonderful time celebrating or if you decide to sleep the old year away, have a happy, joyful, full of peace and blessing New Year, Pam.  Hugs, Wendy

Overcast here with odd snow flurries.  Trees are bare and birdies hunkering down.  Saw some seagulls flying past - intrepid ones.  Hope you are out enjoying all your sun and that you are having fun.

good mid week my friend and the closing of another year. Know the new
year will be better than this year which was rough for many of us but
God always sees us through all. Getting ready for cold spell coming in

I didn't know Texas had such cold weather Pam.  It just doesn't fit with what we think about Texas.  It was 49 and partly cloudy here today with a dabble of rain here and there.  Took my one son out to dinner tonite.  Went to the restaraunt/bar down the street - they have always had great food.  I got chicken parm and it was so big I could only eat half the spaghetti and one peice of the chicken.  I have enough for another whole dinner.  I have a hair appointment with the woman down the street so we'll be back there tomorrow and Rich can either stay at the house or go to the VFW when it opens.  Then I guess we'll hang at the house till it's time to go to dinner with my other son.  Somce tjey aren't getting along  I have to go to dinner with them seperately even though they live in the same house.  Go figure.  Anowhow, tomorrow will be our last day then we are heading home ahead of the NYE's traffic.  Wishing you a good day tomorrow.  Hugs, Wendy
