Hope you are enjoying a bright, sunshiny day! It is beautiful out but in the 30's so inside is a good place to be. Enjoy the week preparing for the beginning of our beloved holidays. Enjoy your time with family and friends! Hugs, Nancy
Evening Pam - It's been a rainy day but not real cold - about 48. Stayed inside all day - no housework but did make dinner - frozen meatballs simmered and seasoned for a couple hours, made gravy with the broth and had mashed potatoes and a veggie. What are you doing for Thanksgiving, Pam? Cooking or going out? We have been invited to a friend's house - have said no to them several times before and thought we should accept as we don't want them thinking we don't want to go to their house. I'm supposed to maake a dessert so it might be a cake to feed 10 or 12 others. I was gonna do a small ham with sides here so I'll make it for another nite. So will you be celebrating Thanksgiving with friends on Sunday when they come down? I guess they will have already have had their big dinner. Enjoy the nite - hugs, Wendy
Hello my friend. I hope you are having a good afternoon. Its a really nice one here. In the mid 60's and no wind. But the weather will make up for that no wind tomorrow. I hope you have a nice week and a Happy Thanksgiving. Take care. Cheryl
I hope that you and your hubby have a great Thanksgiving, Pam. Just enjoy some really good food with family and friends. Relax and have a very relaxing week. Hugs, Nancy
We have eaten Thanksgiving dinner several times with our friends, but they decided to go to his -exs MIL for dinner this year. Since I have a small ham, I thought I'd cook that up and have some sides. I do like pumpking pie for dessert on this day. I sure do miss the days when I went over to my sister's house for dinne there - was like my childhood days - everything was just the same. Yesterday we went to a friend's 'fall party' and I was busy making garlic green beans and kicked up baked beans - both a hit and the baked beans were over the top! I really hated leaving the little bit that was left, but I think you should leave the food you bring unless they absolutely don't want it. We didn't get home till 10 and I was too tired to do individual comments so I did nothing!! Hope you ar relaxing today and not like me doing 5 things at once. The dryer is called and I have to put the veggies on for dinner so I'll say good bye til next time. Don't worry about not being on as much in the future since you are working - I won't forget cha!! Hugs, Wendy
Hello and have a good Thanksgiving. My son David and I will be meeting a couple of friends at a restaurant on that Thursday and will enjoy a very good dinner. Then we can come home and just relax with TV to watch or books to read. Hugs and I hope your holiday is very good. Smiles, Nancy
