Hi Pam - happy Sunday nite - we got home this afternoon after picking up the dog - had a good time in Williamsburg, Va. Went out to dinner both nites and had great food - a stroke of good luck especially the nite we met and made a new friend. Stopped at the big craft show where we each bought a coupe things. Traffic was a breeze coming home unlike the nightmare it was going out there. Unpacked and put everything away then ate my leftover ribs for an early dinner. Watched some football - missed my Cowboys but heard they won. Watched the Packards (Richie's team) that won also and my other son's team the Eagles. We sure got the teams covered!!! Gonna finish watching Adel - I think her voice is so great and her songs you can really relate to. Have a good start to the new week - take care and sleep well. Hugs, Wendy

Hey Pam - heading home in the AM nd stopping at a huge craft show first. I haven't been to this place in years and so looking forward to it. When I lived in Jersey there were lots of craft shows all the time and I went to a lot of them - miss them so much. Of course I don't have the people to buy for these days but love looking anyway and I'm sure something there will be yelling - 'buy me, buy me'.
We went to a bbq place for dinner and while sitting waiting to be called to a table, we talked with a man I was sitting next to. Ended up sittig next to him in the dining room and we chatted and moved to his table, where we chatted all thru dinner and after. He's looking to move to Elizabeth City (the place where we go to shop and go to the VFW) - told him not to buy in the city, but to come out our way as it's cheaper. What are the chances??!!! We exchanged #'s and talked like we were old friends - he ended up paying for our dinner as he was happy to have company for dinner instead of being alone. That was totally unexpected and very nice. Getting down to 31 tonite - more than chilly! Have an enjoyable Sunday and relax for a change!! Hugs, Wendy

Woke up to a light snow this morning but it's gone now. Calling for rain/snow mix tomorrow and I'm not ready for that! It's a good day anyway and I'm getting ready to watch OSU/Perdue game. Hope you are having a great weekend! Hugs, Nancy
Been chasing Paisley around the house all morning trying to get the cream in her left ear
and she led me a merry chase! Finally caught her sunning in BR window and got some on her
but not all.... best I can do!
Found on YT a channel from old couple in AZERBAIJAN on a farm.. she wears a long dress with apron and a kerchief over her hair always.....grows oodles of flowers, huge garden and orchard!
They cook outside using all kinds of make shift stoves and ovens heated with firewood....she
makes all kinds of bread daily and they make tea from EVERYTHING.. all kinds of flowers
brewed in a pot and they never strain it.. just pour petals and tea straight into glasses. !
Today found one where they roasted and smoked a turkey, Man dug a deep hole in ground
and made fire till only hot coals were left.....then put in a flat pan with foil lined potatoes in it..
then hung the turkey from a stick above the fire but still in the ground.,.covered it with a flat lid and then COVERED ALL WITH DIRT! she stuffed the bird with all kinds of veggies
and pomegranite seeds and brushed the skin with SEASONED YOGURT! In few hours it was
done and they ate outside , He had a huge log split in half as the table top which sat on 2 stumps!
Glad I dont have to make my Thanksgiving meal that way!
