Hello and have a good Thanksgiving. My son David and I will be meeting a couple of friends at a restaurant on that Thursday and will enjoy a very good dinner. Then we can come home and just relax with TV to watch or books to read. Hugs and I hope your holiday is very good. Smiles, Nancy
You don't have to worry I won't forget about you even when you aren't here too often. When I was working I could only manage one day on the weekend to say hello. On Thanksgiving it's usually pumpkin pie but I must say great minds think alike because I plan on pecan pie too if I can find one Monday.
The weekend is here. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? We have a couple of things on our schedule for next week and then on the 30th, I start working about 4 days a week in December. So please don't give up if I'm not here as much.
Are you having Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie or Apple Pie or some other desert for Thanksgiving? We usually get Pumpkin but this year we are getting Pecan.
Guess I had better get ready for some football... college football that is. Hope you have a wonderful and a blessed weekend!
Getting ready to watch some OSU football - Go Buckeyes! I am making pecan and pumpkin pie, cut out cookies, dressing, and cheeseball to take to Thanksgiving at my daughter's. I always get stuck with the dressing and pies - LOL. Hugs, Nancy
A very good day to you and wishing a great weekend and week. Going to son and daughter in laws for Thanks giving. Going to be some what empty without the wife this year as for many years she prepared the dinner and loved doing it. May you and yours have a blessed Thanksgiving......George
We went from a glorious Indian Summer to snow overnight. Went out yesterday and froze in the wind. Think I'ma goin' to make like a bear and sleep 'til Spring. Guess who came a-visiting? Penguins bringing the snow. Enjoy the day. Hugs,
Hi Pam - I wish the weather we've had for the last couple days lasted till next spring. But it's gonna be rainy and cold tomorrow. It was so nice tht I had the windows open both times Rich went out today - the last time when he went to the 'gathering' on our Thursday nite group. It started up again. I didn't want to go as I needed to wash my hair for tomorrow and before that, he helped me color it. I did get to sit out front for a while to enjoy the fresh air and wonderful weather. Yeah I'm thinking something got screwed up on your wether report, Pam. Can't remember when the last time I saw the DFW area that cold, although 3 am is a cold part of the nite. Speaking of nite, have a good one. Wendy
Good afternoon. How is your day going? Mine has been productive. Went to Walmart this morning and got groceries. Now I'm doing the laundry. That will do it for today. These days are flying by anymore.I'm excited for Thanksgiving as all 3 of my kids will be here and my two grandsons also. Will make for a great day. And we will be meeting with my husbands family for the noon meal. Lots of people to see. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving next week. Cant believe its only a week away. I don't take much to the gathering just my much liked peanut butter fudge. Well take care my friend and I will chat with you another day. Take care, Cheryl
I hope you are enjoying a nice Thursday. I woke up early and have been getting my trash together so I can put it up this evening. It will be picked up on Friday morning. I did some reading for a while too and then ate some lunch. Hugs, Nancy
Hope you are having a good day. I'm a little on the weak side so will take it easy today. Calling for rain today so a good time to just stay put, drink some hot tea, and relax. I even have Christmas music playing, a little early, but so calming. Hugs, Nancy
As John Denver says, "Some Days are Diamonds, Some Days are Stone", and if we can just make most of them Diamonds, we will surely have accomplished something...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TRANSFORMATIONALLY THIRSTY THURSDAY, and have had a TREMENDOUS WEEK, my friend...
I'm not cooking turkey this year - we will probably go to the post for a big turkey meal or I might cook a small ham that I have and sides. So are you cooking or someone else? Yep, I believe pople come into your life for a reason - like that man we met at the restaraunt - never could spell that word - lol. We've been in the high 60's and low 70's tomorrow - going down to 55 tonite but don't have to take the plants in but I will tomorrow nite. Made chicken parm tonite for dinner - a different recipe - not breaded - it was ok but I did miss the breading - so I won't be maiking it that way again it was all from scratch. Have a good nite - BTW - what time do you go to bed? Sweet dreams - hugs, Wendy
