Yes, read the posting. Thank you. When I was teaching College I had a number of hearing impaired students. I would have an interpreter in class. In order to communicate myself I took a couple of courses in ASL (Amer. sign lang.) Sometimes when I signed in class my interpreter would burst out laughing as she would tell me what I had signed (by mistake). The students with impairment had had Rubella as children which caused the prob. I hope C-19 does not leave an impairment like that. I think I told you I have post-polio syndrome. Polio virus catches up with one about 40 years after the initial infection. (Polio vaccines were not available then) Luckily I had the mild polio when I was nine but it did catch up with me later in life.

It is Friday and the weekend is in sight. The winds are slowly shifting from S to W and soon N. We are 78° now and "supposed" to be in the 40's for 3 nights in a row. Then a week of 50's for lows and upper 70's for highs. It will sure be nice weather for the last weekend of the Texas State Fair.
In just two weeks we will "fall back" and it will be dark by 5 pm. I really hate falling backwards. Wish we could leave the time change in the "spring forward" mode forever.
So are you almost ready for next weekend? My girls would NEVER stand for this. Well, if they knew a treat was coming they might.
I have done my part. I have changed from Pumpkins to Bats. This picture doesn't do it justice because they change colors from iridescent blue to iridescent purple. Bats are really good creatures.

Hi ya Pam - I got a pedicure along with a wax job so I'll look pretty (yeah right!!!) when we go away. We are taking our things over tomorrow afternoon so we won't have to take the time to do it Sat. morn when we leave. We'll go to the post from there so I doubt if I'll be on tomorrow and hopefully we'll have wi-fi when we get to where we're going - if not, I'll be gone for a few days, so don't think yur e mails will be going to spam and me not finding them!!!
