Looking like another rainy day here.  Have some errands to run and a dr. appt. this afternoon.  Doubt I'll be able to avoid the raindrops but that's ok - my car needs a good bath!  Starting to see lots of pumpkins and mums around but no leaves changing yet.  Might be one of those years when fall is short and winter comes in with a vengeance.  Hope you are enjoying your day and it only gets better for you!

It was another nice day here but no rain and a bit humid compared to the last several days.  Rich made breakfast of fried eggs, bacon and a piece of toast with oj, so we kinda ate the same thing this morning!  I was feeling so good today that I vacuumed the whole house, washed the quilt on the bed, folded some cothes but didn't have to cook dinner as Rich is at another meeting - the last for thsi month - and he's bringing home me some swedish meatballs for me to eat.  Got a call from my granddaughter earlier and it was nice to hear from her - nothing wrong - just wanted to chat.  I think sometimes she just needs to talk to MomMom about things she can't talk to anyone else - just chat time. We just returned home from having lunch at Golden Corral.  David will be meeting with a Painter on Sunday re painting our mobile home, porch, etc.  Maybe we will be able to hire this person and get our work done.  Smiles and have a great day, Nancy

Had our 3rd shot yesterday - we're supposed to be OK for the next six months (so they say!)

Took the car in for its first 6-mth check up - very low mileage as haven't been out much since C-19.

Hi Pa - how was yur day today?  It was 85 and very pretty but rain might move in tonite.  Got uup early - 8am - to go to a doc appoint.  so I could get another shot in my hip.  Have been hobbling around since I went to Sam's last week and since I'm going on a trip in about 10 days, I need to be able to walk.  Didn't have to cook dinner as Rich went to a lodge meeting so I had leftovers.  Last nite we were at the men's meeting for the VFW and ate a cheeseburger there.  He goes to a FRA meeting tomorrow so I might get something from the sub place down the road.  He always has those 3 meetings the biginning of each month.  Have a good sleep tonite and a nice day tomorrow.  Hugs, Wendy

I hope you have a great new week.  I have to find someone to paint our mobile home and porch.  Our mobile home park requested that we get it done in 30 days.  So far we are still looking for a painter to do the job.  I just keep worrying about this so I hope I don't have a heart attack.  Enjoy your October!!!
