good morning Pam, of course I won't give up on you because you're working. Just stop in for a quick howdy when you have time. Our team won on Sat. Yaayy! Such a good game too and we needed that win. Yes we will be having pumpkin pie, I make it each year. Probably Pecan pie and Lemon chess pie too. Oh I know all the bug don't die but they leave when its good and cold and that suits me fine. Today begins a busy week for most of us. Remember to take time to relax.
We have eaten Thanksgiving dinner several times with our friends, but they decided to go to his -exs MIL for dinner this year. Since I have a small ham, I thought I'd cook that up and have some sides. I do like pumpking pie for dessert on this day. I sure do miss the days when I went over to my sister's house for dinne there - was like my childhood days - everything was just the same. Yesterday we went to a friend's 'fall party' and I was busy making garlic green beans and kicked up baked beans - both a hit and the baked beans were over the top! I really hated leaving the little bit that was left, but I think you should leave the food you bring unless they absolutely don't want it. We didn't get home till 10 and I was too tired to do individual comments so I did nothing!! Hope you ar relaxing today and not like me doing 5 things at once. The dryer is called and I have to put the veggies on for dinner so I'll say good bye til next time. Don't worry about not being on as much in the future since you are working - I won't forget cha!! You don't have to worry I won't forget about you even when you aren't here too often. When I was working I could only manage one day on the weekend to say hello. On Thanksgiving it's usually pumpkin pie but I must say great minds think alike because I plan on pecan pie too if I can find one Monday.
The weekend is here. Are you ready for Thanksgiving? We have a couple of things on our schedule for next week and then on the 30th, I start working about 4 days a week in December. So please don't give up if I'm not here as much.
Are you having Pumpkin Pie or Pecan Pie or Apple Pie or some other desert for Thanksgiving? We usually get Pumpkin but this year we are getting Pecan.

Getting ready to watch some OSU football - Go Buckeyes! I am making pecan and pumpkin pie, cut out cookies, dressing, and cheeseball to take to Thanksgiving at my daughter's. I always get stuck with the dressing and pies - LOL. Hugs, Nancy
