Good Morning my friend. Its a cool and windy start to this morning. A cold front has moved in. So happy about that. Only going to get up to 83 here today and the night is going to get down in the 50's. The hubby won't like how cool it will get but I enjoy cool nights. I sleep better. Went on a road trip for pumpkins and mums on Saturday. Along with cooler temps this week, it puts me in the mood for fall! I love the next few months and then it could be summer again - LOL. Hope you have a great week! Hugs, Nancy

Hey Pam - hope you had a great weekend - it was beautiful both days here with lots of sunshine and great weather. Did a load of wash, changed the bed and went food shopping where I picked up some nice steaks that honey grilled. I sliced up some tomatoes and made fresh broccoli. Yum Yum. Watched a little football - the Dallas Cowboys won - yay!! I've been a fan of the Cowboys since I was in high school. Have a nice start to the new week. Fall is on it's way soon!! Hugs, WEndy
We had some showers the other day but today was sunny and bright. There was a district meeting of the VFW and auxillary at the Outer Banks, NC. We went with our friends who were on vacation for a month, Rich drove. The Outer Banks is a hugely popular place here in NC Anyway we went there, had the meeting and had lunch there. Afterwards, we went to a pier and watched the bathers and surfers standing on the pier pictured below - Jennette's Pier - it's mainly a fishing pier. Traffice was heavy going and coming but we arrived safely. Tomorrow there are no plans - just gonna sit and relax tomorrow and watch football. Do you home school kids in your house or what? I really didn't understand what you said about that child coming over and tripping. Hope you havve a relaxing day tomorrow - you and your hubby deserve a day off! Hugs, Wendy

I have had a busy week helping my oldest son celebrate his 64th birthday. We did some eating out at his favorite restaurants....so we had lots of good food.
