Hi Pam Good evening. Busy cleaning all day UGH!! It was cooler today and will be tomorrow also - only near 90. Watered the plants and will do it again tommorrow as it will be sunny and near 90 again. Cooked dinner (meatloaf and seasoned potatoes in the oven) and cleaned up. Tomorrow is a day of rest!! Have a good nite. Hugs, Wendy
Good Morning! Well it's late but still morning! Sorry I've been MIA for several days. Wasn't feeling well but think I'm finally back on the mend. Having another beautiful fall day here. Laundry is started and I will work on some filing today. If I'm lucky, I'll spend some time in my rocker on the front porch. Won't be long til it's too cold out there. I enjoy your posts, Pam. Always fun to hear what my Hill friends are up to! Hugs, Nancy
Fortunately, or 'un', however one wants to look at it, we are seldom busy, and prefer it that way, as we kept plenty busy in our earlier years, and feel we deserve the break. In other words, we're RETIRED...
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Pam, I pray YOU have a TREMENDOUSLY TASTY TUESDAY, and are having a TANTILLIZING WEEK, my friend...
Well, here it is already Monday afternoon, but the yard has been mowed by me and Hubby has trimmed a tree, cut up the branches, cleaned out the Martin house, put up new fly catchers, and I'm sure several other things.
Hubby just went to run through the shower and told me that I needed to do that too... like maybe he could smell me. We have beautiful dark clouds today. We might get a sprinkle for tropical storm Nicholas but we are on the dry side. However, friends and family from the border (Mission) to Corpus Christi to Houston are predicted to get 6-12" of rain. The winds are only 70 mph now and are not expected to be much more than that.
Guess I had better find my water and figure out what our meal of the day will be today. Can't wait to see what your weekend was like and what plans you have for this middle of the month already. Time seems to fly by faster and faster the older we get. Don't forget to share your smile because there are lots of people out there looking for it.
Aww such a great post. Yes, I finished my watering today for all that I will do. Mainly wanted to get my iris's.
Have a nice new week, Pam. We are expecting rain this week. I will be home and reading some books on my Kindles. I have pleanty of great books to read. Smiles, Nancy
Hello, hope all is well your way. Sorry I haven't been in touch for awhile. Time just seems to get away from me. We are at the busy Season at my work so I work between 10 and 11 hours a day and have to work some Saturdays as well. So, only have the one day to get all my chores done and get rested up. I do hope you are enjoying your Sunday, it is flying by way too fast. Take care, stay safe, and have a great week.. hugs, debijo
Hi Pam. We had a real good day today - attended a 9-11 ceremony at noon today. Was real good with lots of folks in attendance - it has grown lots when it first started. There were over 100 bikers and Patriot Riders in attendance too. The place that does this is a local funeral home owner and had a huge canopy for all and had a bbq lunch for everyone also. He is a very patriotic man and so is the family. We sat with friends who we haven't seen since there wedding so it was nice catching up. Afterwards we went with other friendsto the post and there were lots of folks there too. Hopey ou had a good start to the weekend. Loved the videos with the butterflies!!! Hugs, Wendy
Just have a very enjoyable weekend. David and I went to get a good lunch at our catfish buffet. When I got home I started reading. I finished 2 books yesterday and started 2 new ones today. I just love to relax and enjoy a good story. Hugs, Nancy
