Was a hot do nothing day for me - felt like 100 but was only 92. Went and got subs for dinner after leaving the viewing. Have to be at the post at 7am to follow the Honor Guard to the cemetary an hour away. I can always take a nap when I get home before going tothe post later that nite. Good Afternoon my friend. I hope you are doing well. I'm feeling okay. Just tired from our trip to Amarillo, Texas yesterday. Its about a 3 hour drive there. Husband a a checkup with his diabetic doctor yesterday. It went good. It takes us longer to get there than the appointment takes. I'm getting my laundry going right now. Thats about all I'm doing today. A nap is in order for today also. Its a warm and cloudy day here today. Its 84 but feels like 88. Don't care for that humdity. LOL - I remember dressing up when I was a little girl - in fact I have a picture of me with one of my sisters with big hats that were my great Aunts. Young and innocent - those were the days. Went all the way to Va. Beach just so honey could put 3 checks in his account as there are no more local branches around us anymore. It rained off and on while there and on the way back we stopped at a little place to have lunch. I brought part of my club sandwich home and had it for dinner. Tomorrow evening we are going to a viewing of a dear friend who passed last week. He was part of the foursome that we played dominos with on Sunday nites. It just won't ever be the same without him. I have never had a day where I stayed in my jamies for the day - I seem to have to get dressed after I've been up afterr an hour or so at the latest! Glad you had such a nice lazy, laid back day. As much as you do every day, you deserve a day like that once in a whil. It's gonna be almost 100 tomorrow - ac is still running!! Hugs , Wendy
