Afternoon Pam ........does you hubby have cataracts? Is that why he is getting lazar surgery on his eye? Hope all goes well and that his sight imporves with htis surgery. It's been an overcast day with a high of 76 and a low tonite of 69 - sure no August weather. Not sure what Mother Nature is hurrying things along - even thoug we are a bit south, the winters here can get really cold - so I'm all for the summer sticking around. Have been busy doing chores around the house and the dryer just went off so I need to get those jeans out and folded. Tomorrow I'll do the towels and sheeets, as I've mopped all the floors and did a bit of dusting. Have a lovely rest of the day. Hugs, Wendy

We also had a lot of rain and almost a tornado - came very close to our little city but thankfully it passed. Didn't do anything except go food shopping and went with honey to the VFW for the men's meeting and stayed a while after with friends. Have a good nite and enjoy the new month. Hugs, Wendy
We had a very good Monday here because it rained all morning. I just curled up with a good book and got lost in that story. I fixed a good lunch of tuna salad with dill pickles, sweet pickles, and boiled eggs....accompanied by potato salad and pork N beans with a brown sugar dressing. Such a wonderful meal with iced tea. I'm not ever far away Pam. Been busy with physio gal and getting set up with a home theraputic device for my legs. Don't know if I told you that I had mild polio when I was 9. It's caught up with me (post-polio syndrome). Apparently it can raise its head up to 40 years after the initial onset. Sometimes I wonder about C-19! I probably won't be around to find out. I can empathsize with you Pam. My cousin Lila, with whom I share a suite at my Residence, has late stages of Macular Degeneration. I often become her extra eyes (and hands). It's a hard one to accept - we use our eyes so much. Stay cool. Hugs, Anne
