Pam, taht's so sweet when a new baby is born in a zoo. I remember the one in a zoo maybe in Phila or somewhere, they were waiting for a giraffe baby to be born - it was on the news all the time and was way overdue - according to the zoo! and a big fuss was made when the baby was born. They even up a cam up in her stall so everyone could keep an eye on her. It was a big deal. I also need to water my plants but it'll wait till tomorrow. It was cooler today and less humid but the pots are dry!! I also go my closet changed around and put the summer clothes up top and kept the bottom rack clear so I could see my shoes! I'm still missing two pair so I will have to check my luggage - I might have left them in there when I went to Jersey last summer. Glad you are having a good day - enjoy the evening too. Oh, btw, the electrical 'grid' is just the amount of outgoing electricity going to homes anf bussiness in the area it service. They don't want excess electricty used when it's real hot out and people need their AC, to prevent a blackout. Hugs, Wendy
I am glad you have been busy with friends and relaxing, Pam. It is a nice Monday here with good sunshine. I am a bit lazy but just have been reading. Have a great new week. Hugs, Nancy
Feel a little better today - everyday now is an improvement. It's hot an muggy today - watered the plants outside and deadheaded some; also put small flags out front for flag day. Usually line the drive with them but did it a bit different this time. Going to the meeting tonite and think I'll be ok as long as I don't have anything to eat. The electric company notified it's customers to not use major appliances during the peak hours of 3 and 6 to keep the grid from being overloaded. It is hot an muggy today - about 90 and I washed a load of towels earlier and they are in the dryer now - so I'm 15 minutes past the time. Good for your college team getting this far - I'm not into any college sports, but it's nice that you are such fans. Have a great rest of the day. Hugs,, Wendy
Hi Pam - How was your weekend? I hope you got to have some fun and not work in the yard all day. I feel a bit better an did eat a bit of breakfast and a peice of chicken for dinner. Hope I'm better tomorrow when I go to the VFW meeting tomorrow an hope the BR stays clear when I need to use it. I did do a load of whites today but honey foslder them as I lay down to take a nap - something I have been doing every day since I've been sick - so unlike me. Have a good start to the new week and don't overwork yourself! Hugs, Wendy
