Hey Pam - how's your mid week day going? Woke up to more flooding this morning - rained hard again last nite and everywhere you look is water - like living on a lake. Some home have no front yards and the water is halfway down the street. Honey has anotehr meeting again tonite - brought home two pork bbq sandwiches last nite - ate one even though I made shrimp scampi for myself for dinner It sure was good. Staying home as I just don't feel like going out. Not doing any house work either as I did a lot of it yesterday. Might do another load of wash and that's about it. Whatever you do,, hope you have a good go at it.
good morning Pam, be careful in that Dallas traffic. I can't imagine dealing with it. It's awful enough around here at rush hour in the bigger cities nearby. Yesterdayi was a cardio appt then lunch with the girls. Just a checkup and glad to have it done for anotther 6 months. Our rain chances are high every single day here but so far it has stayed to the south of us and we've had lower temps in the 80s too. I'll take that for August weather any day! We are usually miserable this time of year. Hope your mid week is good.

Hi there. Its a nice afternoon here. I haven't had to turn on the air conditioner yest so that is definetly a plus. But by the weekend we will as it will be up in the 100's. I could do without that heat. I hope you are having a good afternoon my friend and take care. Cheryl
Afternoon Pam ........does you hubby have cataracts? Is that why he is getting lazar surgery on his eye? Hope all goes well and that his sight imporves with htis surgery. It's been an overcast day with a high of 76 and a low tonite of 69 - sure no August weather. Not sure what Mother Nature is hurrying things along - even thoug we are a bit south, the winters here can get really cold - so I'm all for the summer sticking around. Have been busy doing chores around the house and the dryer just went off so I need to get those jeans out and folded. Tomorrow I'll do the towels and sheeets, as I've mopped all the floors and did a bit of dusting. Have a lovely rest of the day. Hugs, Wendy

We also had a lot of rain and almost a tornado - came very close to our little city but thankfully it passed. Didn't do anything except go food shopping and went with honey to the VFW for the men's meeting and stayed a while after with friends. Have a good nite and enjoy the new month. Hugs, Wendy
We had a very good Monday here because it rained all morning. I just curled up with a good book and got lost in that story. I fixed a good lunch of tuna salad with dill pickles, sweet pickles, and boiled eggs....accompanied by potato salad and pork N beans with a brown sugar dressing. Such a wonderful meal with iced tea.
