Hi Pam, so glad I can bring a smile to your face. Hot as blue blazes here. Going for 97 today unless we get some cloud cover or showers. No big plans, need to get my pie safe transported to the gentleman who will restore it. He's been out of town until today. Hopefully can do that early in the am before it rains tomorrow. We are hopeful for more too. Enjoy your games, friend! Hubby has been watching the college Baseball games for our local teams this week too. Sending sunny day hugs from me to you.
Stepped off my front porch to take out the trash and got hit in the face with a wet blanket! Really can't remember the humidity being this bad in a long time. Hope your weather is more appealing! AC is such a blessing. The weekend is upon us ~ hope yours is fantastic!!! Hugs, Nancy
WE STILL NEED RAIN. OUR FARMERS ARE GOING TO LOOSE A LOT IF WE DON'T GET SOME SOON. HAVE A GREAT EVENING. GOD BLESS YOU. LEE

Worked yesterday afternoon and ran errands this morning. I am starting Chicken and Dumplings now. Still don't know if we have company coming tomorrow or not.
Humidity was at 99% again early this morning. The ground is so saturated. So I think I will check the plants outside quickly and read my book while the laundry finishes. Smile! Someone is watching you!
I've had a nice Thursday. I put my trash out for pickup tomorrow. And...I placed my food order with HEB and David will pick it up in the morning. I did some reading while sitting on my front porch for a while (until it got too hot out there). I have a TV program to watch tonight and then I'll probably go to sleep early.
I hope you have a great Friday to start a relaxing weekend. Hugs, Nancy
Hi there. I hope you are having a good Thursday. Its already a warm and humid day here. I didn't sleep good last night. I'm having hormone issues. I have a doctors appointment in Oklahoma City in a couple of weeks. Ready for that to get here so I can feel better. I've already taken a nap this morning, now I feel all groggy from it. I hope you have a good day and it isn't to hot for you. Take care my friend, Cheryl
Keep a cool patch for me, please. Very hot here so staying indoors. Taking a break from chatting with nice computer techies. They are great but, oh, my ear at the end. Stay cool.
I've had a good day. Went to lunch with my Daughter Cindy and Granddaughter Megan and her 3 yr old son. Had a big baked potato with all the sour cream, butter, cheese and everything else . Had good conversations and enjoyed that lunch. Now I'm just relaxing after some reading and will get ready to watch some TV tonight. Enjoy your evening. Hugs, Nancy
Hope you are enjoying your day. We need some of the rain you have been having. It is so dry here. Everytime the predict rain it doesn't happen. They are predicting it again by Friday so fingers crossed that maybe this time we will get some... hugs, debijo
Good day to you. Summertime is definitely her being hot in the 90's with high humidity to compliment it. June 10th 1956 a beautiful young girl exchanged vows with me to love, cherish and respect and as the years have gone by we know our time together grows shorter but the love has grown stronger. Happy 65 anniversary to my beautiful bride.
It's a very muggy hot day with rain and storms forecast every day this week. Got busy doing house chores and missed my early morning chance to enjoy my front porch. It's my happy place. Isn't AC a true blessing?! What I call our farm market is acturally a year-round business except for winter months in the produce area. One area is all fresh produce and other food products. Another building is very nice hand-made crafts and other gift items. It's called Pickwick Place and can be seen online at www.thepickwickplace. They have a lot of neat things. Enjoy your strawberries! Hugs, Nancy
Hello Pam, the rain disappeared for us and the sun is heating us up quickly. Sure dries the laundry on the line fast though. I know you are enjoying those hummers. We have stopped seeing ours so not sure what's up with that. Maybe because it's been so dry. The showers we got over the weekend was the first rain we'd had in weeks. Hope your mid week is good and you are keeping cool in TX. Hugs from hot and sunny FL, Beth
