Hope you are enjoying your day. We need some of the rain you have been having. It is so dry here. Everytime the predict rain it doesn't happen. They are predicting it again by Friday so fingers crossed that maybe this time we will get some... hugs, debijo
Good day to you. Summertime is definitely her being hot in the 90's with high humidity to compliment it. June 10th 1956 a beautiful young girl exchanged vows with me to love, cherish and respect and as the years have gone by we know our time together grows shorter but the love has grown stronger. Happy 65 anniversary to my beautiful bride.
It's a very muggy hot day with rain and storms forecast every day this week. Got busy doing house chores and missed my early morning chance to enjoy my front porch. It's my happy place. Isn't AC a true blessing?! What I call our farm market is acturally a year-round business except for winter months in the produce area. One area is all fresh produce and other food products. Another building is very nice hand-made crafts and other gift items. It's called Pickwick Place and can be seen online at www.thepickwickplace. They have a lot of neat things. Enjoy your strawberries! Hugs, Nancy
Hello Pam, the rain disappeared for us and the sun is heating us up quickly. Sure dries the laundry on the line fast though. I know you are enjoying those hummers. We have stopped seeing ours so not sure what's up with that. Maybe because it's been so dry. The showers we got over the weekend was the first rain we'd had in weeks. Hope your mid week is good and you are keeping cool in TX. Hugs from hot and sunny FL, Beth
Hi there. Its going to be another hot and humid day here today. I can do without the humidity. Not much going on here today. Getting my housework going and then going to take it easy. I hope you have a great day my friend and take care. Cheryl
HI PAM, WE COULD USE A BIT OF THAT RAIN YOU ARE HAVING, WE GET SOME BUT JUST ENOUGH TO WET THE PAYEMENT, NEED IT FOR THE FIRES THAT WILL COP UP SOON. HAVE A GOOD DAY PAM, HUGS, MOE
Hi Pam - we are supposed to get storms today but so far it has been sunny and bright and 85. Not too bad if inside in the AC. Went for a neuro consult that the foot doc set up for me and she increased my meds and set up another EMG and blood work for me. My pro=imary doc wants bloodwork too and the hospital and his office are right newar each other so I'll goo to one then to the other. I really haven't seen any hummers this year at my feed but the food is going down. Not sure what's drinking it. Gonna go make more food for them now to think about it. Have a good rest of the day. Hugs, Wendy
Good Morning! Looks like a few intermittent rainy days in store for us. Thinking about heading to farm market to buy some strawberries. Has anyone started eating from your garden yet? I miss my garden! I used to enjoy flea markets too but can't manage the walk anymore. Wishing you a lovely day. Hugs, Nancy
You poor thing -more rain!!!! I am picturing your yard from the last picture you sent. Think positively about it all. The vegetation is loving this rain, and there is less chance for fires. Just a thought! That's so nice that you and your daughter-in-law spent time together at the Flea Market. When we're in Florida we go to the Red Barn Flea Market. I agree, the prices aren't what they used to be. It's a nice outing though. I have to agree that there are lots of nice people in this world. Unfortunately the media only focus on the not-so-nice. Have a good day my online friend. Sue
good morning Pam, the pics you got were amazing. It's been really dry here too and we got a brief shower yesterday that dropped a half an inch. We needed much more of course but it was good to have any. All the plants outside were soaking it up as fast it fell. Nothing much going on here. Got more blueberries on Fri. and made a lemon blueberry loaf yesterday with them. It turned out good. Have to run errands later if my tummy issues settle down. Hope your week is off to a good start.
