It reached 77 here in NC but is 72 now - has been raining off and on so not great out but we need the rain. But the ditches are full and will be overrunning if we get much more rain. I've chopped up veggies and chicken and got the rest of the ingredients out to make dinner when we come home from meeting others for our Thurs. outing with them. The FRA had their installation dinner last nite, so no one wants to go out for food tonite, so we're just meeting for a drink. Have a grest rest of the afternoon, hope you had a great day. Hope your doing well, rain moving in, and I hope it's a lot. Very dry and we need a good soaking, tho they are not calling for it. I have been watering everything non stop, and hot humidex is moving in and staying in.
Hello Pam, did your rain ever stop? We are needing some here. It's hot and dry and the grass is dying. We had a good holiday weekend with family and friends. Hi Pam - wow you did a lot of rain! We also had rain on Sun. but Monday was just beautiful. Went to a ceremony at a local cemetary where honey placed a wreath, among others to the service man who started our VFW. Then back to the post for lots of good refreshments. Sat out on the pic--nick tables it was so nice. Hope your weekend was nice also. Had a mamo today - isn't that always nice - being half naked in front of a stranger and having your boobs squshed!! After that went to a friend's who I haven't seen in moonth and spent the rest of the afternoon just chatting away. Hope your day went well and that you have a good evening/nite. Hugs, Wendy
