All I can say is, we got the yard mowed on Thursday afternoon. Then the rain arrived before sunrise and we got almost 1/2". Now if you know where to take the pictures, the backyard looks great.
Then Friday we had to buy some groceries because we had almost no bread left in the house. We did rest a bit too. So by Saturday we were ready to go again.
Isn't that cloud sad?
The tree on the right was hanging so low that it would touch the roof of my car. So you know what that means. Time to trim a tree. We don't have bulk pick up so we can only put out 4 bundles of 3x3x3 tied together once a week.
Now it is time for the big 12 baseball playoff and softball in just a bit. Who knows what Sunday and Monday will bring.
Please know that I am sending Blessings and Hugs to you and hoping that you are sharing your smile as we Remember and Honor this Memorial Day for those who gave their life so we could enjoy our life.
HI AM, MORE TREE TRIMMING AHEAD OF YOU AND GETTING RID OF THEM IS A PROBLEM. HOPE ALL GOES WELL WHEN YOU DO THAT. TAKE CARE AND HAVE A GREAT SUNDAY. I HAD A LOT OF CACTUS AT ONE TIME BUT NOW LIVING ON THE WEST COAST , THEY DON'R REALLY LIKE THE CLIMATE. I WAS FROM THE INTERIOR OF B.C. WHERE IT WAS SO HOT AND DRY. DOWN HERE IS WET AND HUMID. HOPE YOU ENJOY MY CACTUS PICTURES.
It's a chilly, rainy, miserable day. Not a good Memorial Day weekend for campers. Brings back memories. Been a busy week with lots of dr. appts. and grandson's graduation last Sunday and party last night. Hard to believe it's my last grandchild to graduate. I'm exhausted! Hope you have a nice weekend whatever the weather. Hugs, Nancy
good morning Pam, did your rain ever stop so you get your yard mowed? We woke up to thunder and a nice little shower early this morning. I literally jumped out of bed at 6:30 to go set my plants out in it. haha. We only got 3/4 inch but it was the first we've had in weeks. Do you have plans for the holiday weekend? We're going to a family fish fry later. Hope your day is good!
Wishing you a beautiful weekend to enjoy with friends and family. A special time to remember those who gave all for our freedoms. May your week be blessed......George
Good early Friday morning Pam. It's the start of the Memorial Day weekend - do you have any plans? We don't - not really - honey has to be at the local cemetary Monday to partake of a ceremoney they have every year then will go to the VFW for refreshments after. Nothing else going on. There were only 5 of us at dinner tonite, and I wasn't pleased with my meal but the strawberry daquiri was delish! Don't think I'm going to the post tomorrow nite as our friends are camping and won't be there so I'll stay home and eat some left over spaghetti and get the tv all to myself! Selfish huh? Hope your have a good Friday and that it quite raining. Good nite, Wendy
