good morning Pam, thanks for sharing the pics of your family on Mother's Day. Looks like you all had a good day and the dumplings looked so yummy! Now I am wanting to make some. lol. Hubby took me out to Roadhouse after church and they were so packed but we were seated quickly at least. Had enough food left for supper so didn't have to cook.  The kitchen project is done at last except for some trimwork.  Hubby worked had all week to get it done.  We are warm and cloudy here and rain on the way tomorrow. I had a very pleasant Mother's Day.  Just watched my church service online and then at a really good lunch that David cooked for me.  Then I relaxed and did some reading on my Kindle.  Your family pictures really showed a good gathering and meal.  Hugs, Nancy

Hi Pam - hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed your Mother's Day.  Ours was good starting out with a free breakfast at the VFW including pancakes, sausages and everything inbetween.  We ended up staying and chatting with friends til 1:30 and had a bloody mary.  Then  had baked ziti at our game last nite - I came in next to last :( but had fun anyway.  Tonite is the meeting for the ladies auxillary so will be leaving here in a few hours.  Have a good rest of the day Pam and for the rest of the week.  Hugs, Wendy

Hello Pam, hope your day is good spent with family. Do you make the biscuit dumplings with Bisquick or canned biscuits? I use the Bisquick recipe sometimes. My family likes them. I also make the old fashioned kind with homemade biscuit dough cut in strips. We've had a lovely Spring weather here with cool temps. Such a nice time to be outside. My son make Jerked chicken last night on the grill. Off to church in a bit and then out to lunch. Wshing you a lovely Mother's day!
