Happy Saturday! We have so much different foods out for the birds, we are just about to go hiking again, and it is cold cold cold, we went yesterday too. And all along the paths are food for the birds, it's so neat to see them all. Hope your having a super weekend!
Hello to you my friend and hope your keeping your feet warm. The freeze has hit our area and very unusual cold for us. All week will have freezing temps getting down to 11 degrees one day. Had freezing rain yesterday causing many accidents and school closures. Still a lot of ice on trees but many of you are used to this. Just staying in and keeping warm, Have a great weekend...George
Sorry to hear of the deaths in yesterday's awful car accidents. Guess the insurance companies are going to have fun trying to get this mess straightened out. Still raining here but I brved it to go to the store Wanted to get a chuck roast to make in the oven, but I didn't get home in time to get it on, as it takes hours to cook and didn't want to eat dinner at 8 o'clock tonite!! I stoopped at Dollar Tree to get a few cards and the soaps honey likes to use in the shower. The ditches are overflowed and the back yard is almost a swimming pool. The birds sure are having a good time hunting for foods - mostly blackbirds but do see a few robins amongst them. Hope you are remaining well, hubby too! It's almost the weekend so have a good one. I saw on the news the terrible crash. Ice storms are the worst! We're over 200 hours below freezing too. Used to be kind of common but I don't remember this long of stretch for many many years. I'm with you, staying inside and keepin' warm!
Have a great weekend. Its going to be a cold and miserable weekend here as we are to get lots of snow starting as early as tomorrow evening and last through Monday. I sure hope it doesn't happen. We don't need 15 to 20 inches of snow.That is way to much. Take care my friend. Cheryl
