The Arlington/Mansfield area had around 5" rain yesterday afternoon where we had 1/10". Get ready, we are due upper 90's for the next week starting tomorrow. The "feel like" temperature will be over 100.
Goodbye to cooler temperatures and cloudy days for a while. Ready or not, here comes summer and what perfect timing with school out. I must admit, I am NOT ready for the electric bill next month.
It is almost time for Longhorn softball and then Longhorn baseball. So I had better get lunch served.
We had a very good Friday and ate our Buffet of catfish at lunch and then came home and did some of our household duties. Now it is Saturday and we have had a rain storm this morning so I guess we will stay inside for a while to see if we get more rain. Have a good weekend, Nancy
Hi there my friends.I'm slowly getting better. My throat is still sore but I have been gargling with salt water everyday and that is helping. Today is the first day I have ached all day which is a plus. Its a cloudy and cool day here today. We have a chance for rain tonight. My cucmber seeds have come up and are doing good. So are my tomato seeds.They are both now little plants. I can't wait until they are big enough to put on fruit. Well enjoy the rest of your day and take care. Hugs,Cheryl
