Yes, there are some days that I wish I still drank. Today I would really like a drink.
Our wind is sustained at 28 mph with gusts from 40-50 mph. So even walking to the mailbox is dangerous. Live limbs are breaking and falling from trees.
We had to pick up something in Rockwall this morning and I thought the car door was going to snap my legs off when I got my feet on the ground. And yes, I was hanging on to the door handle as a gust threatened to blow me away.
So I am going back to cooking up some dogs... no, no... cooking up something for the dogs. And then...
I think I will relax for a while. Maybe read a good book from my Kindle in a tub of warm (not too hot) water. What about you?

Boy its windy here. I made the mistake of traveling to Walmart this morning. Its a 30 minute drive and the wind was howling out of the north and made it hard to drive, but I made it there and got my groceries and it wasn't so bad coming back home. But the wind is still with it and its cloudy and 61 out. So with the wind going as it is, its rather chilly. And tomorrow is goiong to be chilly and windy as well and we are traveling a4 hour trip tomorrow. We are going to go and see our oldest daughter and her 2 grandsons. I can't wait to see them as its been some time since we have been there.So after today I won't be back on here until Monday sometime. So enjoy the rest of your weekend and your weekend my friend.
