I am so enjoying fall and all of its beauty. We even had our 1st frost on the roof tops this morning. A smile came on my face and a twinkle in my eyes. October is always full of surprises.
I am enjoying at the moment some , yes your reading it right, some eggnog flavored New England Coffee that is a holiday edition. A new flavor for me and I must say this is going to be a keeper.
Misty kind of day here. Went to Aldi's and got a roast and a pumpkin plus of course some other things. The auxilly of the VFW made close to $500 from our bake sale and got part of $900 tickets sold for a smoker that was donated by Lowe's. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week. Hugs, Wendy
Monday is half over, but I have a question. Does anyone else have strawberry plants? I have 4 of them right now. Three are in hanging baskets and one in a regular pot. Two of them are hanging side by side.
I just ate two big tasty strawberries off of this plant last week and would you look at all the blooms and new strawberries growing. This crazy plant has been giving me strawberries for about 6 months.
I just wondered if anyone has any experience with strawberry plants and why this one plant is so prolific when the others are not. I even gave a couple of plants to a friend earlier this year. All four of the plants I have are putting off babies.

Hello, hope you are doing well and have enjoyed your weekend. Sorry I haven't been on here that much. These 60 hour weeks at work are wearing me out. One more 6 day week then I will get a 2 day weekend. I'm having a rather lazy day. Only doing the basics, really should go out and mow the lawn but that's not going to happen lol... Weekend isn't over for everyone yet. Some people have Monday off for Columbus Day and in Canada Thanksgiving Day. So I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday and Monday. We are expecting storms to move into Texas late Sunday evening.
Now look closely. Can you spot J Lo blending in? She is laying on the dog mat, sneaking up on the dog food. What joy all of our dogs bring us!
So are you getting ready for Halloween? Do you have a costume or one for your kids or pet? Do you really think our pets hate us when we dress them up?
I do know when they love us... when it is snack time. Do your dogs get table scraps or just dog treats and dental chews? Our dogs get a lot of treats and chews and every now and then they might get something that I am eating.
I know when we are gone they eat very little. But when we get home the bowl seems to empty right away. Lots of times they go to the bowl (it is always down) when we are eating at the table.
