I ended up outside on the porch for several hours this morning. Why? Because it was raining lightly and raining and raining hard. Today will be about an inch of rain for us but my friends near me already have 2". I read, did FaceTime with a friend, and maybe took some videos of Hummingbirds and Cardinals. So I came in and downloaded between 74 and 102 pictures since June 1st to my computer. I am addicted!
It has been so very humid the last few days when the sun does come out for a bit. Our A/C has been on for well over a month. The latest news is that we are supposed to have at least 10+ days of no rain soon. The bad news is it will be in the 90's and above for most of that time. Well, from now until October probably.
So I am off to enjoy the rest of the rainy day and ask that you remind me in a few months of how much rain we have had now.
When my wife was alive we used to have a big garden. We had an acre of land, 1/2 of it was garden. It saved us a lot of money, we canned a lot and frose a lot of stuff. Weather has been hot here, staying in the house with air running all the time. Take care, stay safe. Hugs.
