We're all stocking the pantry and hunkering down for the big snow storm that's supposed to bring us 8-12 inches of snow tomorrow! I really hope the weather man misses it this time. Sorry you had to get new frig. I know they do not last like they used to. All my appliances are a little over 6 years old and I hold my breath they keep working! I don't like rain in the winter. We got a little dusting of white stuff last night. Just enough to make everything look pretty.
Sorry to hear about your fridge and all the food you lost. Appliances definitely don't last the way they used to and they're so expensive. I know you're disappointed that you can't get the fridge you'd really like, but it will be nice to be able to prepare food at home. The restaurants are nice for a treat, but not for every meal. That's crazy what your stove is doing. Hopefully you can get whatever is causing the burner to do that fixed.
I'm feeling almost 100% after having a cold for over 2 weeks. Still a lingering cough that goes with this cold, but nothing too earth shattering. I'm so grateful that it didn't go into my chest and turn into bronchitis or pneumonia. There's always something to thank the Lord for.
That's a lot of blood to give. I hope your Dr. will be able to give you the right medication to bring the white cell count up. Blood tests are always a challenge for me. The chemotherapy that I had 20 years ago did a number on my veins. They are so narrow that they still have to use the butterfly needle, and even with that they sometimes have trouble. It is what it is!
I got my hair cut a couple of days ago and it feels so good again. Our church us taking pictures for our new telephone directory, so I wanted my hair to look decent. Pride, pride, pride!

Glad you got to your comments.No plans for me for the weekend, just sort of watching what is happening in the House. so many things going on and now they find the Pres told his lawyer to lie to congress. That is not good, so will stay close to the t.v. to see what is going to happen. Hello Karen.Hope that left some blood in your bady. Sorry to hear that your appliances are breaking down on you. A while back I had another old frig. in the shed. I used to store excess food from the house one. One day I decided to have a pizza that I had in the old one. I go out and all the food in the freezer was soggy inside. Had to throw all the stuff out and got rid of that frig. after. Yes more than $200 of food wasted. I know how you feel my dear. This week has been a cold one with temps below Zero. Hi Karen, you're having a bad run with your refrigerator/freezr and stove. Both so costly. I hope that you get good results with your blood work. That will at least brighten your day some.
Darn but you are not having the best of luck just lately, with your health problems and the cost of replacing things.

Good afternoon Karin - it's a real nice day here today - yesterday 50 and today 45 so far. Might go up another 2 degrees, and there is lots of sunshine. I already made a blueberry pie for dessert tonite, the house smells so good and I think I'll make Oven Chicken Tortillas for dinner. I want something different. We went thru 2 new stoves before the 3rd one finally worked, so I know what you mean about buring things before you know it. I can't cook anything but on 2 - maybe 3. Sure hope things are going well with you at your neck of the woods - sounds like it is. Hope everything is gonna be fine with whatever is going on with your health. Keep me informed of what they find out with you being a vampire donner! It's a shame you had to loose all that food in the fridge, but it's always nice to get new appliances. Enjoy your Thursday . Hi Karen, have at least one more day of rain and then back to the temps in the 70*s. I read this morning that the rain that I got will end up bringing about 4 feet of snow on the east coast and then it will get an artic breeze to being down the temps.
Sorry to hear about the loss of food, but happy that you are getting your new fridge soon. I hope that everything gets back to normal soon.
