Isn't it wonderful to be able to see and talk to family on Facebook! Our granddaughter's husband is a Marine, and they are stationed in Japan, and it is miraculous that I can see and talk to them half a world away.

Hello Karen. Check your email I sent you something nice before. It's about a horse that visits people in the hospital. Very touching. We had a light dusting of snow today not even an inch. Hi there Karen, thanks for your note. nice to hear from you. I have been sticking pretty close to my couch what with this pneumonia ,taking my pills and feeling a bit better today. Yes we did have a postal strike up here, they happen at the worst times too, nearly always around Christmas time. so sorry I didn't get a card off to you this year but sure do appreciate the one you sent. is very nice. thank you again. got up and made a big pot of soup with marrow bones, and just about everything else I could think of to put in it.
