Hi Karen, here it is in the mid 60*s and will be getting some more rain on Saturday and Monday. Sure saves on my water bill. You mentioned the islands, my baby brother lives over there and I keep saying that I am going over to live and being that he is 20 years younger than me, he can help me if I need to have help in the future. I grew up there as a teenager, did a lot of swimming and surfing.
Hi Karen, been sleeping the day away. Sure must need it. Not on here very much. Thanks for your comment - hope you don't get any of that white stuff. hard to get around in the snow. Let me know how you are doing and so wish you had some great news about your grand daughter. they should know something about her by now and do something for her. Isn't it wonderful to be able to see and talk to family on Facebook! Our granddaughter's husband is a Marine, and they are stationed in Japan, and it is miraculous that I can see and talk to them half a world away.

Hello Karen, Just want to say that I am so sorry to hear about your son - both of you are in my prayers. Cancer is such a horrible disease. It's totally different to have a child go thru something like this an not be able to help in anyway. Be strong for him! Hugs and kisses and prayers. Wendy

Hello Karen. Check your email I sent you something nice before. It's about a horse that visits people in the hospital. Very touching. We had a light dusting of snow today not even an inch. But starting tomorrow temps will drop or very close to the 0 mark for a few days and weekend. Caught up on all my mails and things are looking good so far. Have a nice evening and take care. Hugs. Hi there Karen, thanks for your note. nice to hear from you. I have been sticking pretty close to my couch what with this pneumonia ,taking my pills and feeling a bit better today. Yes we did have a postal strike up here, they happen at the worst times too, nearly always around Christmas time. so sorry I didn't get a card off to you this year but sure do appreciate the one you sent. is very nice. thank you again. got up and made a big pot of soup with marrow bones, and just about everything else I could think of to put in it.
