It was another 90+ day with a heat index of over 100. Was in the house most of the day where it was cool. Catching up on chores, hung up shirts from the dryer, did a little weeding outside, vacuume and made dinner. Hoope your day was good and you had time to have fun and relax. Hugs, Wendy

The plants are so wilted that there are very few blooms to even smell. We have been 104°-107° with heat indexes above 115°. We no longer have a green yard; it is yellow and the grass is almost dead.
It is best just to stay inside with the air conditioner and just glance outside through the window. Then pull the shades down again.
Don't open the window! The heat will come in and no telling who else! Maybe some nosey neighbor.
Have you seen that new guy with the blue eyes that moved into our neighborhood last week? I think his name is Gus!
I heard him call me a peeping tom just yesterday! Can you imagine? Doesn't he know who he is talking to?
It's now Thursday evening Alex. It was very overcast all day then we got a nice rain shower. It has cooled things off for now but will warm back up to the 90's later in the week. enjoy Friday as it brings on the weekend! Hugs, Wendy
