Good Morning Pam, the little dogs were so cute in the picture you posted. Adorable! My 2 shih-poos bring me so much joy. They are both hyper vigilant too and I call them the paw patrol. haha. Hope your holiday weekend has been good so far. I helped hubby cut grass and he weed eated and we both did laundry so mostly caught up on chores. He will grill out some burgers later today for an early supper. Enjoy the holiday! hugs from FL, Beth
Jusst cam in from weeding the front - thought it was a nice day out but not when you are in the sun for any lenght of time. Had to change cothes and sponge off - didn't want to take a shower this early as I have to cook dinner yet. So how 's your holiday weekend going so far Pam? It's a quiet one for us so far. No plans and staying home. Have the flags out lining the driveway and my little holiday garden flag. Of course honey finally put the big flag out front a couple weeks agao and it's waving nicely in the breeze. Hope you are enjoying the long weekend. Stay safe and have fun. Hugs, Wendy
Have a happy Saturday, Pam. I know you will be busy but just enjoy the long weekend. I plan to do some reading and, of course, eat some good food. Hugs, Nancy
Yesterday there was so much bird activity in our backyard... Hummingbirds, Blue Jays, Mockingbirds, Chickadees, Butterflies, Wasps, Cardinals, Wrens
They were fighting over one birdbath (I only have 3) and feeders (again 3 or more). Seems like they knew, even though the temperature was near 100, that September had arrived.
The Mockingbird and the Blue Jay were pecking at each other over one bird bath when another bird bath was 4 feet away.
So be kind and share your smile. There is so much beauty to behold in our world and so many great memories of friends and family.
Good Morning Pam, the birds are so funny fighting over everything. Our hummers do that too. They are mean to each other. Soon the hummers will start their long journey back to Central America or Mexico. The are amazing little creatures. It's Friday again, yippee! Hubby will be glad for his long weekend and I'll try not to find too many honey do chores around here for him to do. Have a good Labor day weekend!
Yu sure do have a varitey of birds, Pam. We have robins and cardinals and the run of the mill birds plus hummers. I don't feed them cause it attracts the squirels and none of us want them running havic. I do have a bird bath but since I had to get this new one, they just don't like it plus it's smaller. Haven't felt too good today since I ate an English muffin this moorning and don't know why - felt better after laying down for a while. Then got ready to go to our Thursday nite dinner and was good till I came home after a while. Hopefully be all bette by tomorrow. Watching the CMA in Nashville - lots of good singers. It's being held outside and not one mask in site!!! Think they will become mandatory again - I wear one when I go out to the stores but not around our circle of friends. Do you have any plans for the upcoming 3 day holiday? Can't believe it's Labor Day already - it's too soon! But time marches on and it rolls around faster as you age! Have a godod time whatever your plans will be. Take care and have a good nite. Hugs Wendy
Have a happy Thursday, Pam. I am glad that September has arrived and we soon be looking at the beautiful landscapes that Autumn brings. Hugs and big smiles, my friend. Nancy
