Good afternoon Pam - honey took me to Panera Bread for lunch - was a nice surprise then went across the street to Lowes where he bought some things - he left the store before I could pick out a plant that was on sale and since I didn't carry my purse with me, I couldn't get it. He did get a brighter overhead light in the kitchen, as the light is behind you when washing dishes and there is no overhead light above the sink. Who in the hell would have a house built like that - nuts. There are no outlets next to the couch that sits in middle of the floor in front of the tv and no wall behined it. So weird as the wife didn't want outlets in the middle of the floor. Now am just sitting here watching Packers vs Washington game then I guess I'll watch the Buccaneers with Brady. You probably have plants that I don't have up here, but this is a first for me - saving plants from year to year unless they are perenials. It got up to 75 here and again a wonderful day - have all the windows and back door open - enjoying it so much!! Afternoon hugs, Wendy

Had all the windows to let the fresh air in - was such a nice day. Didn't do a whole lot today except laundry and of course made dinner. Now trying to catch up here on the Hill. Sunds like you had a full day and I know what you mean about saying good-bye to all your plants. The ones I want to save I just bring into the garage for the winter. Some of my gerainiums are 3 years old now - must say I think this is the last year they will survive. I keep wanting to go to Lowes to see what kinds of plants if any they have but haven't made it yet. Oh well that's the way it goes. Have a good Sunday - relax and take it easy girl!!! Hugs, Wendy

Hi Pam: I remember 'Cricket' from long-time past. Looks like she is taking care of you. Yup, guess you are into gardening. I'm still enjoying my air-plant collection. Each Friday I dump 'em all into a bucket of water for a couple of hours and then let 'em dry. So far they are still growning and healthy. My pregnant plant's baby is growing well.
Did I tell you yesterday we had frost on the pumpkin? Might take me a while to locate the doggie pix as they are all on another 'puter that I only access once in a while. Stay safe and happy. Hugs, Anne
The weekend is in full swing. I can't wait to hear from you. We are back to humid and not so cool again. The Houston Astros are in the World Series! The Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys have the weekend off.
I know I need to start thinking about getting the plastic out (100') to cover all the plants but I just am not ready yet. I always hate putting the hanging plants and potted plants scattered all over the yard up for the winter.
And with our warm weather right now, I can just sit and think about it. I will just admit it, winter is not my favorite time of year. I like cool weather but not cold weather.
I almost never wear a jacket as I hate putting it on and taking it off. Besides, I usually just get in the car and go into the store. And you don't need a jacket either of those places in Texas.
I'm not really into fashion anymore either. I'm a "just take me as I am person" now. But please share your smile and joy with others.
Really beginning to look and feel like fall. Trees are not colorful this year as we've had no frost. Football is on my schedule today - Go Buckeyes! Congrats to your granddaughter for the great win.
