Gone With The Wind
You've Got Mail
Pretty Woman
Castaway
All of the Jane Austen movies.
I love romance stories the most but also enjoy a thriller now and then - not weird thrillers, though.

Songs of the 40s and 50s.
Classical.
Some modern country.

Non-fiction, unless it's a romance or detective story. My favorite magazine is Southern Lady.

I love shades of blue, but I also really like pink and yellow and purple.

This is a tough one, because there are so many things I really like, such as:
crabcakes
beef
veggies of all types
cakes, cookies, pies, ice cream - I think you can see where this is going

I'm 81, happily married for 60 years, have a daughter and son and two grands.
I'm 5'5" (used to be 5'8") and weigh about 120 lbs, have white hair (used to be black) and hazel eyes.
I have simple tastes and am easily pleased.
Before our daughter was born, I worked as a secretary for a law firm where one of the partners was a U.S. Congressman who represented my district - very interesting.

Walking on a warm, sunny day.
Hearing birds singing, especially in the morning.
Laughing with my friends.
Of course, it goes without saying, I love being with my family. I love the sound of their voices on the phone, when I can't see them in person.
Sipping a cup of Ceylon tea, especially Ahmad's.
Beautiful music.
Interesting books and magazines.

Rap music!
Cold, dreary winter days with snow on the ground.
Digging up weeds, so I don't do it anymore (have arthritis). Even though I love flowers, I got rid of my roses and azaleas-let someone else do the weeding.
Rude people.
Loud car mufflers.

I've never been a great hobby person, but I do love my computer and enjoy reading a good book or magazine.
I used to make all of my dresses, skirts, etc. when first married, but don't even own a sewing machine these days so can't call sewing a hobby. My mother taught me to crochet when I was young, but I could never match her beautiful stitches so gave it up.

It is a sunny, chilly day here and finally feels like autumn. I’m so happy to be wearing long sleeves, jeans, and SHOES! LOL Fall weather is the best; it’s not hot, it’s not cold, it’s just right! There is a breeze and I love watching the leaves raining down. It’s like a leafy ballet. What’s going on with you today and what is your weather like, Maria? I hope your day is a good one, rain or shine!

Love and Leaves~
