MY FAVORITE COLOR
...R E D...is my all time favourite colour. I love all the fall colours. Warm colours. I do like white and black too. I like yellow and orange also.
I like all other colours too, just not on me!
My favourite flower: Red Carnations. Roses are pretty, but not my favourite..
I really like hot chocolate, popcorn, chocolate, cookies, chocolate, fruit, vegetables. Oh, did I say chocolate! ?
Pastas, icecream, corn on the cob, stew, chicken, turkey, tuna sandwiches, apple pie and icecream, fudge, sandwiches of all kinds, cheese, nuts (all kinds), yogurt!... Gosh, you should have asked what I don't like. That would have been so much easier. Most fish and seafood! Yuk! By the way, did I mention I like chocolate? Just checking..smile.

Hello, Hill Friends! Well, we are all right into the New Year now. Seems like we have been here for ages now. Some started off in a good way, and some not so good. I am glad that we all have each other to lean on here on the Hill. Maybe help each other in some small way.
I have not gone to a movie yet this year! Oh, my... the popcorn is calling my name. I will have to rectify that... and soon!

ABOUT ME
I am single, however I do not plan on staying that way indefinitely! I love companionship and sharing my life with a partner. . I am happiest when I have someone to love and care for.
I adore my family and friends. I enjoy life to the fullest. My nieces and nephews like to say, "Aunt G is High on Life." I am the kind of person everyone comes to when they have an upset in their lives as I am very compassionate and caring. They always feel better after they have been with me and talked things out with me. I will listen to the same story over and over and act like it is the first time they told me. It is healing for them to talk about it for as long as they need to, and I am here to listen.
I have a problem with negativity in people and tend to avoid them if their negativity upsets me. However, I am never too far away that I won't return should they choose to turn their negativity off.
My friends and family value my opinions and advice as they often ask for it. Mind you, I am not saying they listen or take it, they just value it...LOL
I am fun to be around and always leave everyone laughing and smiling. I am not a clown, just one of those that seems to get people laughing and happy for some reason. Maybe I am like my dad, witty. I like to think I am. Maybe it is because I am so honest and just blurt things out.
I like to travel, see new things, learn new things.
I enjoy typing (can't you tell?!). I am a chatterbox for the most part. Put me in a crowd and I turn into a quiet little mouse.
I love to walk. I could walk and walk.
Well, that is enough about me.

Children, dogs, kind people, happy people, honest and caring people. I like to help people, make people happy. I like movies, all kinds of programs on t.v., variety of books, computers, singing..but you might not like it..yikes.., walking in the sunshine, and walking in the snow. I love the snowflakes when they are gentle and sparkle like diamonds. When they fall on my nose and tickle it.. I love to walk in the leaves in the fall and listen to them rustle beneath my feet. I like to kick them as I walk.. I like to step on the pine cones and hear them crunch as I squash them beneath my feet . I love companionship and harmony. I like anything that touches my heart, like acts of kindness, caring, compassion.. The innocence of little children..Oh, and I like food!
I love my Angels. I can't see them, but I know they are always by my side. .smile Oh, and I must not forget my "Earth Angels". I am always bumping into them, especially, here on the Hill..smile...
Oh! There is something else I love with a passion... I love my Country...I love CANADA!
Two of my favourite things are:...Teddy Bears and hugs! I do believe they go hand in hand, don't you? (smile)
WHAT I DON'T LIKE
Mean, dishonest, snarly, phoney, cold-hearted people.
I don't like scary or gorry movies. I don't like it at the hockey games when they smash each other up against the boards.
I don't like game shows when all but one win something, because I feel sorry for the person. I don't like those game shows where they keep upping ths stakes and then lose everything. They make me so nervous, I just can't watch them. Again, I get all upset when they are greedy and then lose it all. I feel so bad for them.
I don't like spiders, mice or bats..oh..or snakes.
Oh, and those darned squirrels around here can be such a nuisance. Not to mention the rabbits that live under my portch. And...I live in the city. LOL.
WELL ANOTHER WEEK IS OVER WITH AND IT IS THE BLESSED WEEEKEND........HAS BEEN A BUSY WEEK AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO A COUPLE OF DAYS OF RELAXATION......WILL DO SOME DRAWING AND KNITTING AND MAYBE WATCH A GOOD MOVIE..........HOPING YOUR WEEK WENT WELL AND THAT YOU TOO WILL HAVE A RELAXING AND HAPPY COUPLE OF DAYS......PEACE AND LOVE.........CAROLYN
In my last comment I forgot to say, 'felicitations' is a real, honest to goodness English word although not often used; you can look it up in the dictionary. Only thing, I think it is used more in the Dutch language (felicitaties) and I was translating literally and I shouldn't have been doing that I guess.

Hi Gloria another beautiful day here in MI. Sunny and high in 50's. We will be taking dogs for a walk pretty soon. But then Sat. back to winter. Cold and snowy. UGH!!!!
