Here's my problem:

A friend was trying to read one of my blogs from quite a while back. It says at the bottom that there are 3 comments; however, when you click on the 3 comments link, none of the replies show up.  I thought the blogs were kept indefinitely and if so, why does it say there are 3 comments (which there should be) but nothing shows up when you click on the link?? This is very frustrating. Can someone please explain why the comments are NOT showing on this particular blog?

Maybe who ever wrote the blog deleted it from their account. You can do this from My account/ My Items / Comments. Some of the friends clean their accounts on a regular basis. Hope that this helps. Suzan

We have been investigating this and think we have found the problem. We purchased a database cleaner that allows you to delete comments from a set date. It is supposed to delete comments from guestbook, but it appears it is also deleting comments from blogs. The last cleanup was July 3rd and earlier; upon checking old blogs prior to that date, it does appear comments are gone (it still leaves number of comments listed even though they are not there). I have reported this to the company who made this script and in the meantime will not be clearing old comments.
