Good afternoon and Happy Labor Day. Are you doing anything for today? We aren't. Just a normal day here as Tony had to work. I went shopping for the things we needed this week. Walmart wasn't to bad. Its a hot and breezy day here. Its 100* and feels like 97*. I took out the trash a little while ago and the heat is awful with the wind. Feels like a blow dryer going outside. Well its finally the last day of August. I'm hoping September will be cooler. The mornings are cool here, but the afternoon gets up in the 90's . I think I will change my page to Fall. Hope you're having a lovely Sunday. While I'm fine, many in Wonderland, including my mother-in-law, are recovering from last week's storms. Seven nighttime tornadoes in 3 hrs, four around me, knocked out power, many still today. The 🌪️s were weak & shortlived, but left so many damaged trees, downed power lines, ripped-up roofs, pulled-off siding & more flooded basements when sump pumps stopped working. We are all being compassionate, helping those that bore the brunt of the storms. 💦

Hi there. I'm getting excited about the coming cool air that will be here this weekend. I'm so tired of the heat. We don't run out air conditioner at night, just the fans, so it can be warm in the bedroom at night even though we have the back door open so the air can come through the fan. Last week for my summer sunflower decor. When Sept. comes, it's fall to me even if it's 99 degrees! My sunflowers have been up since July 5 so I'm ready for a change. Are you looking forward to the transition? 🌻
Golden August celebrated on my mini pine. Finally got my back shots; the doc hit a nerve this time & it felt like I had been tased! I have to take it easy for 3 days & then--oh joy (not really!) I can start doing some light housekeeping.😉
My goodness the morning is now in the past and the afternoon is now here for me to enjoy as I wish. For some reason I am in a fall mood so I put some pumpkin spice creamer in my coffee for the fun of f it. Ever so smooth and tasty. Looking forward to cooler temps.
