Excuse me while I twirl around your page a bit, Bren. Just doing my happy Friday dance! It's a sunny, beautiful day and after I get my indoor work done, I'll be heading outside this afternoon to enjoy the sunbeams. What's your weather like and are you enjoying a great day, too?
How is your Thursday going, Bren? Mine is great; we've gotten groceries and went to the feed-n-seed store for our tomato and pepper plants, and now Dave's working outside and I'm working in. It's too soon to plant the garden just yet but we like to get our plants bought and acclimated before putting them in the ground. The sun isn't shining today and I think we are supposed to get rain. Allergy season is in full swing now with tree pollen levels off the charts. The Kleenex company sure loves me this time of year. LOL
What a gorgeous Wednesday it is! Sunshine, cool, but not uncomfortable temps, and did I mention SUNSHINE? This weather inspires me to clean, do yard work, and just be outside watching birds and listening to their songs! Yesterday I went to the coop to gather eggs and nearly "bought the farm" when I opened the nesting boxes to find a possum, curled up and comfy, napping in the far left nesting box. Right beside it in another box, was a hen sitting on eggs. It took Dave some time to encourage Polly Possum to leave the coop and go into the yard but, eventually, he was successful. This country life is sure interesting! Have a happy hump day, friend!
What a beautiful start to the week it is here. Sunshine and cool...just as springtime should be. I've gotten my vacuuming done but for the laundry area and then the day is mine! I've sort of stunk up the house a bit by hard boiling eggs so I guess I'd better get my diffuser going with some nice smelling essential oils, huh? Guess you know what we're having for lunch today; egg salad sandwiches. LOL Enjoy this wonderful day and have a great week, Bren.
It is a chilly, sunny Sunday morning here and just beautiful. We have no plans for the day except to putter around the house. Dave is still working on getting the railing off the front porch and I am the "job foreman". hehe Have a great day, whatever you're doing!
Are you having a good weekend, so far, Bren? My Saturday has been great. We went to an estate sale this morning in Clover, SC, where I found some more Tom Clark gnomes to add to my collection. At just $10 a piece, I couldn't resist! Then we went to McConnells, SC to an auction where we met up with our oldest daughter, Lindy, and her guy. We didn't buy a thing there but it was a nice day to be outside. Now we're just tinkering around at home. Dave is currently tearing down the railing on the front porch. It is really ratty looking now and we think we will go without a railing for a bit and see how we like. Have a relaxing evening.
I'm so glad it's Friday! Especially THIS Friday. Friends of ours from back home in PA are traveling to FL and stopping here this evening for a visit. I am fixing a blackberry cobbler for us to have while we catch up on life. Looks like we may get rain and storms later today, according to the weatherman. Windy, too. So I'll vacuum, mop, and then sit down to crochet away the afternoon! Hope your week ends on a high note, Bren!
It is now later in the afternoon and this has been a great day for the blizzard conditions settled down for in our area and received only abit of snow but still the high winds. Icy roads though because of the rain that came down over night. And this is March for you in my neck of the woods. Now more west of us they are enduring the blizzard and some roads are closed. Pray for safety.
It is an absolutely gorgeous Wednesday here and I'm working to get things done indoors so that I can be outdoors later on, Bren! It is just so nice to have warm sunshine instead of rain. So I'll clean bathrooms, do laundry and take my merry self out to the yard this afternoon to get my dose of vitamin D. I hope you have a very pleasant day, too.
It is a sunny Tuesday morning for me and I am so thankful for the sunshine, Bren. Not much happening here today and I'm glad for that since neither Dave or I slept well last night. Some nights you sleep like a rock and other nights.....UGH. Anyway, it is what it is and since the sun has shown its face, I'm a happy girl and will enjoy the day. Quite possibly with only one eye open but I'll still enjoy!
It is a sunless Monday for me but at least it's not raining. And it's warm. I sat outside on the swing a bit ago and talked to my mom on the phone and it felt so good! How has your day been? I have done some household chores and I'm waiting for the dryer to buzz so I can fold laundry and call it a day, Bren!
It's a very cool and dreary day here, Bren. It's been misting rain all day now. So what should a girl do on a nasty Saturday? She should go to Michael's and buy more yarn, that's what. Almost finished with the blanket I'm crocheting so I need to have another project waiting in the wings, you know. Whatever you are doing today and in whatever weather you're doing it, hope it's a good one.
It's a drippy Friday for me but, since it's Friday, I don't care what the weather wants to give, Bren. I'm doing housework and bird watching from inside my warm house so.... What is going on with you today? Do you have anything special going on this upcoming weekend? No plans for us. Dodging rain drops and hoping for the sun's return!
Another Monday is in the books and it's time to tackle Tuesday. Going to be a chilly day and even colder night so I will enjoy our blooming trees and plants one more day! Before the freeze takes them. How is your weather and what is happening at your house today, Bren?
It's Monday. Time to start a new week. Hoping to see some sunshine later. At least there is no rain in our forecast! Did you have a good weekend? Mine was wonderful....just not quite long enough. Are they ever? Happy birthday to your granddaughter, Bren. Our oldest grandson will be 17 in June. Time needs to really slow its pace.
