Friday afternoon and the weekend traffic has already started.  The lines to check in at the airport were very long as shown on TV early this morning.  

We both smiled this morning and visited with everyone we encountered as we were going from store to store checking things off our lists.  

My question is... who let the sunshine in?  This summertime heat is a killer.  Just getting the eggs from next door and putting out fresh water for the chickens had us dripping with sweat.  

I had a good day off.  Got the backyard watered, showered, ran errands, bought groceries, and ate Mexican Food at our favorite local spot.  

So do you have any plans for the "maybe" long weekend?  Oh, the beach would be so nice.  

Have you ever seen or been in water this clear?  I know one of my friends has been but I have not.  

Have you been to Arkansas and seen this glass Church?  It is bound to be surrounded by trees.  

Maybe you have been to Ruby Fall in TN.  My kids were there recently and Hubby and I were there in 1982 after we went to the World's Fair.  

What are some of the places you have been or that you are wanting to go see?  Just know that wherever you go you are safe under the protection of God's arms.  

Good Morning Wednesday!  My day off and I will be outside watering plants this morning.  

I saw this picture and what memories it brought back of just over 20 years ago when we lived in South Texas.  I had a 3' tub planter of Bird of Paradise with lots of blooms that I left behind when we moved.  

What?  You left a plant behind?  Yes, I knew it would not survive in this colder weather.  It still breaks my heart.  

Now before that Texas sun beats down on us again today, I really need to water the plants I do have growing and wilting daily.  

After all, they are all lined up waiting for a refreshing drink this morning.  Then there is the grocery list that is waiting too.  

Seems like everyone in this house wants to be fed... dogs and humans alike.  

Happy Tuesday!  Another day and another decision.  What do you make of this day?

They might turn out to be someone who will always be truthful with you and make you laugh.  You know, a lifelong friend!

Sunday is here and I will be working on Monday and Tuesday.  I was so busy on Saturday that I didn't get to visit each of you but I did post a bulletin.  

So it is a new week and I am still playing catch up.  Can you believe this is the last week of June and that half this year is over?  

When it comes to housework and trying to get things done that I don't like doing, I always want to run away.  

But then in the middle of grumbling, you look around and the Blessings just are all around you.  

Something so beautiful is right there in front of you and it puts a smile on your face.  

OK, it was only a flower and maybe a hummingbird too but they both put a smile on my face.  

Work, work, work!  Now it is Friday!  Can't wait to get home even though the day has just begun.  

Amazing how we can smell the weekend.  Any big plans for you?  I am anxious to rest up for work again on the last Monday of June.  

I am waiting on quitting time.  I know it is just around the corner.  I can see it.  I can feel it.  

I am Sherlock Holmes after all.  I am quite the detective and have a very good nose for sniffing out things.  

However, it might cost you several bones for me to divulge this information.

This Tuesday is my last day off this week.  I will be at work for the next three days.  

Last day to check and see which plants need water and other chores around the house.  

Of course that means it is my last day to run errands too.  There is always so much on my list.  

So today I will put on my tap shoes and get after that list of things to do.  Do you have anything special planned?  

Now where is that list and where is the sunshine?  I really do need sunshine and Vitamin D to make it through the rest of the week.  

Oh what blessings today brings!  Smiles and thankfulness are at the top of our lists.  

You have the choice to be happy or let something or someone change that for you!  

There is not one of us that doesn't have a mess going on in their life.  I choose to let God help with those things.  

While all of us have problems, all of us also have Blessings.  Choose to concentrate on the good things for which we are thankful everyday.

It is Father's Day after all.  So what's up?  

I hope it is a peaceful and relaxing day and you make fun memories.  

Do you grill Hotdogs and Hamburgers or Chicken and Steak?  Or do the kids take you out to eat?  

I hope you all sit around and tell stories, relive the past, and make memories to remember forever.  

Whatever you do today, do it together.  Be happy, kind and have fun with each other.

Even being back at work, I have that Friday feeling.  After 2 days of being home and having to run errands in the 100° feels like 110°, it is wonderful to be in AC at work.  

It is summertime in Texas.  Let's find a cool spot inside somewhere where someone else is paying the electric bill.  

We could go to the beach and look for beautiful orange starfish.  Have you ever seen a live starfish?  It just looks cooler there!  

Have you ever been scuba diving?  All the colors of the fish under the water just look breathtaking.  

Come on!  Let's go!  Or not... have you found a cool spot to spend the day?  After all, the weekend is almost here.  

Maybe we can find a nice place above ground, like a waterfall to play in.  Maybe for the whole weekend!  Let's just get away!  Let me know what you have planned for Father's Day Weekend.  

Hubby didn't make it to the grocery store but I did.  It only took me 2 hours inside the store.  At least he helped put things away.  I was exhausted!  

Have you ever seen such a beautiful Rose??? Most of my roses are yellow and orange, but this one is just magnificent!  

There is beauty all around the world.  Look at that sunrise on the beach.  Can you feel the sand between your toes and the cool water?  

Maybe you prefer the mountains.  As the sun rises, you can feel the cool breeze and you can see beautiful animals begin to move around.  

Now as summertime arrives, we can feel the heat and the humidity.  But there is still beauty to be found all around us... just go back to that flower.  hehehe  

We will probably say goodbye to the rain as summer takes over.  It has been beautiful while it lasted this year except for those who got damaging hail.  

Enjoy the beauty all around you and Love will grow within you!  

Wednesday is here!  And do you know what day it is?  

Here is a hint.  Aren't eagles beautiful birds?  I know how much trouble it is to color my hair all one color.  I wonder how long it took to do all her feathers.  

Yes, it is Flag Day!  And my sweet friend, Kay, has a birthday today that she shares with Trump!

So today I have a day off and I am going outside to enjoy the flowers for a bit.  I hope to get my car inspected and tags renewed too.  And I desperately need to get groceries as our list is a page long.  

Our flag is flying between our driveways. Of course we are both wearing red, white and blue too!  

Wave that Flag proudly today and I'll see you tomorrow unless I am still unloading groceries.  

Tuesday is here!  Can you believe that we are almost halfway through the month?  We just said, Hello June!  

Today let's be like a lighthouse.  Wherever you go, let your light shine brightly.  

Remember that what you do, how you act, what others see, all of it matters and makes a difference.  

Because if you are that person and I see you today, then you will put a smile on my face and love in my heart.  

Most of us are attracted to sunshine, to the warmth, to light.  Be that light today and every day.  

Monday, Monday, so good to me!  And to you!  That is my wish for the day!  

Some days we have to really work to make it the best day ever.  

Sometimes it depends on us to start the day out right and it easily becomes a great day.  

There are days when what is right in front of us if we just look will instantly change the way our day goes.  It makes you smile.  

When you smile and you share that smile, you might just change someone else's day and make it the best day ever for them too.  

Sundays are never a waste.  It is a day to rest, relax, and most of all refresh your soul and to watch wonderful and powerful sermons too.

If I can just be calm driving and not yell at too many people (from inside my car) this week, I bet I won't be as disappointed in others.
