Hello there my friend, have one granddaughter over for the week-end. She has met some friends her age and they have had so much. I made some mac n cheese and we smoked it in the electric smoker. Gave a large pan to our neighbor who had given us some huge scallops. Today we will fix the scallops on the grill with some strip steak. I guess it's surf and turf day here. This week-end was very busy for me. Saturday I made two trips to Wal Mart, once for mulch and the second one for paint and a plant. I painted two lawn chairs, a patio table and a small outside table. Made a little decorative area outside with mulch. Put some chairs there, stepping stones and topped it off with a beautiful peach colored Hibiscus. They just keep blooming and blooming. After that some of our neighbor kids came over and they helped me get the weeds out of some of my flower pots. I was so tired after all the work I had done I was ready for some help. They ate Doritos and blew bubbles at each other with a bubble gun I have for my grandkids. Before they left hubby gave them lots of candy. Then we cooked a marinated London Broil and had a nice dinner. Sunday did some more painting and let the kids paint some things too. They all come to my house when they get bored. They went home happy with ice cream. Hope you are having some fun at what you are doing...
