Good morning. Calendar pages changed on all calendars yesterday in a pre-emptive move heralded by all of my neighbors. May Day is celebrated today. It used to be something to honour the working class and commemorate their struggles for fair wages and better working conditions. Now it is a military parade for the communist nations around the world. Years ago the Catholic church made it a feast day for St Joseph the Worker to honor the people who worked. I of course am still struggling with the problem of a final solution. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
GOOD MORNING, LOVE, HUGS & BLESSINGS, Ms. Connie, I pray YOU have a WONDER-FILLED WEDNESDAY/HUMPDAY, and are having WONDIFEROUS WEEK, & NEW MONTH, my friend...
Good morning. The last day of the month. Time to get ready to change the calendar pages. I depressed myself and went and looked at lawn mowers yesterday. I thought I found someone to fix mine but so far he has not returned the call. Actually he has but I was not there to receive it. It probably would not have worked as he would probably want me to pay him. Now someone said the guy who lives next to me has a host of lawn mowers and maybe he would sell me one. Of course that would involve an argument on how much he would want for one of them. I used to like buying and selling and the vitriol involved with this. Not any more. It would not look good on my résumé for sainthood upon completion of my journey on this side of the curtain. Waiting for the light to go for the exercise. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. Monday is here like it was predicted to be. I think the rain is finished. My mind is still muddled with thoughts of the lawn mower............. what is and what could have been. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
April 27, 1981, The wedding of Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach, with the Harrisons and the McCartneys; FYI, John Lennon had passed away the previous December 8, 1980
Good morning. Mid 50s and rain today. No agenda. Lawn is growing and I languish in the uncertainty of a lawn mower. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Saturday. I woke up at 2 this morning with some inconvenience with my tooth, or maybe it is the gum. In either case, I do not like it. I have a dental appointment in about a month so I will have to tread water if it is not the end of the world. These things always happen on the weekend or the eve of the weekend. Well, as they told me about the Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, meditate. I am planning on Walmart this morning for an emergency trip for eggs. It has been raining all night and the neighbor is building an ark. I believe by six the rain will have stopped for a few hours and I shall release a dove to see if the water has receded from the surface of the ground. Have a reasonable day and don't let your tooth bother you. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
A million years ago for these horror icons. I wonder how her parents feel!
I used to watch both of these people every week, and still watch the woman in the bottle.
Good morning. Expecting some rain later in my backyard, around 9 or so, colonial time. Tired this morning. NFL Draft. I have not received a call as of yet. Have a reasonable day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Greetings. About 40* this morning. The agenda: Who knows! In either case, have a reasonable day. I usually do not do coffee until after the exercise protocol. I hate not being able to go at 3 any longer. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Happy Passover. Cooler this morning, about 35*F. Going to the high 50s later. Passover started Monday. I don't celebrate it. It is something from the distant past. People are going around throwing paint and blood on people's houses. Toilet papering their property and soaping the windows of their cars. I prefer the present. Have a good day. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. I am hoping for a reasonable day for you. The Vice President has left my city. She was about 4 or 5 blocks from my house and therefore not easy to travel. I guess something one has to put up with in this era of people getting nuts over politics. I miss the days of JFK. I actually got to see him speak. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
That is the Radisson Hotel where I used to go to brunch every Sunday and holiday......without the cars. This is obviously some dinner for a car club
Happy Sunday. It is 32* but heading to 60*F. Nothing planned. I suppose the walk for exercise and some tenacious television watching. Have a good Sunday. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
