Good morning. I threw out all of the Broccoli Florets as suspicion emanates they have caused this writer gas. Of course it could also be the tomatoes but I would be willing to suffer that. As a Catholic. I have to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Nothing planned for today. Maybe Mass, and then maybe........ Walmart. That is if I am already out and about or I would be going there right now. I am starting the day out at 54* and it felt rather cool on the trail of elation this morning. Good morning. I scored a bunch of broccoli florets yesterday so I am in the process of having to eat them for the rest of the week. However, I did put a package of them in the freezer so hopefully they will be good when I want to eat some at a different time. I am pondering on going to Mass today. I have been lax on the daily Mass for the last couple of weeks. Game time decision in about 2 hours, give or take 37 seconds depending on when you translate this. Have a good day. Good morning. On my exercise this morning, the sky looked really dark with a heavy cloud flavoring. I thought for certain I might get caught in the rain as I had not looked at a forecast before I embarked on my Odyssey. My second thought was my city was going to turn into London in a Sherlock Holmes movie filled with fog. That could still happen. I have just previewed the weather for the rest of the day. A slight possibility of rain around noon. This would be for a couple of hours and then back to the cloudy weather again until 5:00 PM. Fortunately I have nothing on my schedule for today. I have fulfilled my requirements of the attendance at Walmart for the week. The only thing that is on my calendar for today is church, and that is at about 4:00 PM. Not my favorite day of the week for church as the priest gets verbose when giving his homily. In either case, we are getting ready for Labor Day, the unofficial end of summer. Greetings. I went for the walk this morning, at about 3AM. It was drizzling which eventually turned into a fairly hard rain. This walker got soaked. Expecting storms through 9AM. I have to go to church this morning. Holy Day of Obligation. I shall go down to the Cathedral. Better starting time. It is also the Ides of August, so be careful. Good morning. Went to Walmart this morning for some mandatory supplies. Tomorrow is the Ides of August, and....... a Holy Day of Obligation. I shall have to mount a road trip to the Cathedral because of the hours they are offering Mass. My schedule is so hectic there is no room for wasted time. Good morning. Happy HUMP DAY. Another good morning for a walk. About 58° F heading to 80° later. I had a look at the next 10 days and all of them have nice morning temperatures which help cool off the house where I do not have to aerate the house later. After my morning jog yesterday, I was thinking about doing it again today, however I could not bring myself to do it. For some reason I was lacking the initiative. If I would have started, I believe it would have gone all right. In either case, the walk was acceptable. The same cannot be said about my dinner last night. The salmon turned out terrible. It was edible however it lacked flavor and moisture. I may have overcooked it, and of course, like everything in my house, it was far past its expiration date. Not that frozen food has a real expiration date but it tends to lose flavor. This is the first time I have tried frozen salmon. Ordinarily I get fresh salmon but I bought this years ago and put it in the freezer. Out of sight, out of mind. I have nothing planned for today. Court TV is showing a case that I'm familiar with as it is from my area so I shall be auditing it. Have a good floss. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
Good morning. It is 58*F heading to 78*. Yesterday was the first time in a millenium I was able to have the windows open all day. I am tired this morning. We had a rain storm at about midnight and water was dripping from the neighbor's house onto something made of metal. It woke me and kept me awake until I closed the window but by then any hopes and dreams of sleeping well went out the window, to coin a phrase. I almost cancelled the exercise this morning but persevered. I even did some light jogging. The weather helped. As I am typing, the wind is making itself known. I got to Walmart yesterday so I have nothing planned for today. I watch Carol Burnett everyday, and depending on when it comes on and if one watches it in chronological sequence, I like it the way she has the guests sign the book at the end of the show. They stopped that later in the series and I forgot that until I started watching the beginning of the series. The one I watched yesterday had a heavy dose of Don Adams. I always remember him from GET SMART, but he does a great job as a guest performer. Have a good floss. Ciao for now and watch your wallet!
