While we were on our anniversary cruise, Geralyn and I enjoyed strolling through the shops in downtown Cozumel, Mexico and then listening to a talented street performer play.
When John and I disembarked from our cruise ship, we were told that the seas were too choppy for a small boat to take us to a nearby beach which was what we selected for our shore excursion. Other than strong winds, the day was sunny and beautiful. So, we decided we would explore the city of Cozumel. We've been to Cozumel about 4 times but we always enjoy strolling through the city.
John and I spent the day at La Bamba Beach in Costa Maya, Mexico. We enjoyed lounging under some wonderful palm trees. We had a few drinks and enjoyed the refreshing ocean water.
John and I decided that we would celebrate our anniversary on this particular evening as we departed Jamaica on our cruise. Although our anniversary is actually January 22, it is our tradition to go on a cruise during the month of January. The dates for this cruise fit our schedule perfectly and, although it would have been nice to have been on a cruise on our anniversary, this was the cruise we wanted to go on! Love and Hugs, Ger
John and I have always taken a long Caribbean cruise to celebrate our anniversary. This is our 8th anniversary cruise! After John and I unpacked our suitcases, we were ready to enjoy the first evening of our cruise. For this cruise, we decided to see if we would enjoy having the unlimited adult beverage package. During our trip we found that we really enjoyed our evening drinks and entertainment! Our first evening was one of many enjoyable nights we had on our yearly anniversary cruise!
John and I always grill steaks for New Year's Eve. My son is visiting us for the holiday so we cooked his favorite steaks for tonight and we will also send him home with several more!
