Hello my friend, fifty per cent chance of rain today. Very cloudy in Norfolk. I had such a busy week-end that I'm glad to be back to work so I can rest. The chocolate Irish whiskey cake turned out delicious. Brisket was done to perfection. Hope you have a nice Monday...
Tomorrow I will be running to the store with my new exercising shoes on to pick up some groceries for our St. Paddy's Day feast. I am making Dilled roasted carrots, Caraway potatoes and leeks, Mini Irish soda breads, Corned beef with cabbage and apples. We will be having this on Sunday since I will be working next Wednesday. Maybe there will be enough left over for Wednesday too. Did I mention the Chocolate Irish- whiskey cake? Yum yum yum! I think I'm really going to have to RUN to the store and back. He he! So glad today is Friday! Plan to get my hair trimmed tonight after work. Tomorrow spend time with my mom, play online, watch a movie and cook stew beef with egg noodles for dinner. Hope your week-end is a good one...
HAD PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES LAST NIGHT TIL 7 P.M. WENT IN THIS MORNING, 1 PM. CLOSING, DUE TO THE SNOW. IT'S REALLY COMING DOWN. THANK GOSH, HANK'S COMPANY CLOSED AT 11 A.M. & WE'RE ALL HOME SAFELY. I'M BETTING SCHOOL WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW ALSO. GETTING MY LAUNDRY DONE TONIGHT.... CHANGED BEDSHEETS...CHORES, WHILE IT LOOKS PRETTY OUTSIDE & I DON'T HAVE TO DRIVE... LOL....XO
