Welcome to the golden days of summer! Its such a relief to have some nice days here after so much strong wind and threatened storms. Flooding. While our flooding has not been like its been in Iowa Ind. Ill. and such its enough for me. I had some water in my yard from the creek backing up after almost 4 inches of rain in less than an hour. I visited a neighboring town where their park was floodedandthere was lots of dry mud on the roads, dusty and all the grass was brown and dead. Looked terrible. The peace of the drier air and sunny days after has been so much joy . the kids soft ball games even adults arefinally getting to play and catch up. Still getting rain some usually in evening but no hail here and yards look green and growing almost too fast. HA! Lok forward to more great days. Hope your days are pleasant too.
