2014*3*4*Tuesday EMOM'S MOUNTAIN NEWS
Welcome home, dear hearts, welcome home! Get in here and warm up! Boots over by the door, please.
I have no idea why some things happen... just seems like they do. I don't remember if I told y'all about using the rake and curry comb on the bedroom floor... not that it needed it. (green eyes attack here!) Hours I spent on this daggoned carpet! All clean and I finally moved the new/bot on sale filing cabinet to the extension on the puter set up.
Well, yesterday I started on the filing of all this paperwork I have scattered all over. (Am I allowed to call my bedroom a place of business???) And I am getting a little old to sit on the floor for hours at a time. It's not the sittin', it's the gittin' up! Sheesh! And I best not be hearing any 'old person' remarks, ya hear me?
Anyhow, I can now see the top of the printer and have found all kinds of junk/forgotten items hiding behind the screen. Trust me, that is a great improvement!
OK, so by the time I got all this done, the freezing rain, snow and sleet had reached a depth of 5 3/4"... three of the wrecking crew had been outside for several hours. I had called and whistled and yelled several time... nothing. I was starting to get fretful... ''where in the hell are they?''
Keep in mind now, the cleaned office/bedroom. There I stand at the open back door.. whistling and calling and HERE THEY COME!
Around the cabinet that I use to block the wind from the storm door. Here comes Homer, just a flying! Zooms into-through the kitchen-down the hall to the bedroom. Then here comes the Stormy and the Houdi!
Same thing but they do stop for a moment to give me the pack greeting. OMG!!!! From their eyebrows to their shoulders... covered, and I do mean covered, with red clay mud! I'm not even gonna' ask!
Anyway, down the hall they go... and I know where they are gonna end up...Arghhh! On my bed! Oh yeah! Homer, I later discovered, had ice on his belly fur... Well, at least it thinned the mud when it melted. Notice middle pic...Stormy seems to be wearing Egyptian type wig of mud.
Guess that's it for the moment. Take care all of mine, go in safety always. Remember to thank all of ours who have been freezing their buns off in this cold keeping our roads clear and our homes electrified. Seriously kids... THANX
Many hugs...much love and lots of lafter meems the TerMOMinator
