So many may wonder why Abbi has such a name? Well TA DA!
Their parents are at fault. Not only do the girls have names that all start with "A" their middle names are Faith, Liberty, and Justice. oldest to youngest.
Their dad is a Navy guy. What more can I say? LOL You can tell huh.

My daughter did not want her picture taken because she said she felt like crap, and therefore she must look like crap too. So I had to respect her wishes. The girls Anna and Allie were tickled pink that they have a baby sister. You can tell that Anna drank cool aid this morning, and little Abbi slept through most of it, including the noise that a three year old and eight year old can create. Abbi has hair everywhere, it's long, and in some areas it is thick. It was cold in the room her temp was a little low so they were monitoring her temperature, and I did not give you a birds eye view of her fingers and toes etc. Sorry bout that. But I sure wanted to get a picture of that head of hair she has for you all too see.
Mom is doing fine She was in labor from a little before 9am, until Abbi's birth which was 11:00pm on the dot.

Daughter has been in labor since 9 am and they said she was only half way there at 7pm this evening. This bumpkin is just taking her time, but in the mean time, letting her mommy have it. They gave her a eppi this afternoon around 3pm. Will keep you informed if there is anything new. But little Abbi may be born on the 7th. lol

My daughter was due on the 31st of December. She is having a girl. What a pregnancy she has had. Today they informed her they will induce on Tuesday of the next week. This has really been one wild ride. First they said the baby was too small, then they said her tummy was not developing as it should, so they did ultrasounds and now after each one they do they say everything is fine. They said twice on the baby being small. She had a ultrasound last Monday and they said she weighs around 7 pounds 2 oz. least lets not forget that for months she was on meds to stop labor. She was on those for most of her pregnancy.
As always what ever the case they said that Tuesday is Abbi's birthday. Which is my clue to run to daughters house. I have a lot of spoiling to do! As always I have no intentions on being online. If Ya'll are real good I will post pictures on the Hill. :) As long as my camera doesn't die. lol

I have viewed many pages, and seen all the buzz of creativity going on here at NOTH. Who ever said us older generation can't learn new things is a nut case.
There are many things here that I enjoy. Like for instance the photos that members take and upload for everyone here on NOTH to enjoy. Some are just breath taking. Also the profiles of members are looking good. Hands down, much better than your other social networks.
I even checked out chat to see how that was coming along. It looks far better than the old one they use to have here at NOTH. I just wish more members would give it a try. No need to be bashful about it. It really is fun once you get the hang of it.
The end of 2008 is upon us now. Soon we will ring in a new year here at NOTH. I believe 2009 will be a good year for NOTH. Creativity will increase, and everyone here at NOTH will make many new friends. Plus even learn a thing or two from the many groups we have here. There is no way you could be bored here. If anything... you will end your day knowing more than you did the day before. And as Martha Stewart always said... "That is a good thing."

Listen up, starting this coming weekend I will be on vacation. I am not sure if I will be gone four weeks or six. But this should make a lot of game players very happy.

I decided to do something different with my playlist. I am sure others have thought of the same thing. What I have done is (or I am still doing) is I am putting together a list of music from as far back as I can remember of songs that I do remember hearing either on the radio, record player, 8 track, and tape deck. It will take me a while to do this, but I am well on my way. To give you a idea. .. The first song I ever remember is a chubby checkers song called "The twist". I remember it so vividly because at the time I was very young and my whole family went to the fair. I am not sure or I can't remember if it was Chubby Checkers singing it at the time, I just remember this guy was signing it, and playing the piano, but what I do remember is my mom had my sister and I dancing the twist. My sister and I are twins, (yep I sure am a twin) (pick ya jaw up) all dressed cutesy frilly ( parents dressed their girls up back then) and center attention of the crowd because my sister and I had the twist down pat. We even got the applause at the end from the people surrounding us. The Twist made it's debut in 1958. I was at least three or four years old. it did not make number one until I think it was 1960. I did not want to dance that I do remember because the dress I was wearing had this lace on it, and it was very itchy. I did not like the dress at all. So I went looking for this song thinking if I can find something from back in the late 50's I should not have a problem with finding the others. Some I don't even remember who sang them, or the name of the songs themselves. So if anything it will be fun to look this stuff up, and give it a listening. So have a look at what I have so far. I have not put the songs in order because as you know the Holidays are fixing to be upon us. Plus soon I will have some down time. That will make the gamers here all happy. :) blog at you guys later. wee.. ...bit

I live in the deep south among the palm trees. I do like it until we have a hurricane or tropical storm. Then I am ready to pack and leave for good. :) I mention this because one of the comments I have gotten was to wish me well with the fall season that is coming up. That is really funny. I guess most live in areas to where they have four seasons per year. Here where I am at, we have two. We have summer, and winter. It can stay in the 70-80 range for temps here all the way up to January for what some people call their "fall" season. Then we have 40 degree temps. Some times it dips into the 30's But that is at night, and we are lucky for that low of a temp for just a few short days that we get.. It stays pretty much shorts weather year long. it may get cold at night, but it is pretty decent in the day. Except for those few days we call winter. If we had to really wear a coat around here I think I would be shocked. Most of the time it is light jacket or sweater. It is not uncommon to see people in t-shirts and shorts year long. Our summers are brutal. 90 - 100+ degree weather. And it is humid. Plus it may rain a little or a lot during the week. It just depends on the hurricane season. This year it has really been active. We can go from 40 to 88 degrees over night in what you may call spring. That may last a week or two, and then summer kicks in. I guess I have to say it would be brutal to not have a/c around here. Just a trip out doors to tend to the lawn can make your day miserable. The grass grows fast. Some weeks you can cut it, and in less than a week it is a foot tall again. Thanks to all the rain we get. I like hearing about what others have to deal with in the area they live in. So please comment if you have interesting seasons, or even if your weather is like mine.
