Hello. Love the pics of your horses. Personally I love the Clydesdales as that was what my father used on the farm when we were growing up. We also had a part draught who we hitched to the buggy to take the 5 miles track to attend school. She was a lovely horse. My late Uncle bred and raced horses and did quite well, but that was many years ago. He gave my eldest sister two of his retired horses and she trained them for Show work and won many trophies and ribbons. Up until recently she bred Palominos. Another sister married a man who bred Quarter horses and they still run a few although he mainly concentrates now on judging. All animals are treasures and make the best friends. I see you also have two lovely dogs. We did have two corgi's but after they went to sleep I Could not bare the thought of having another as its too stressful when they leave us. We only have the one stray feline friend now who litterally runs the home. Plus some birds and fish in an outdoor pond. There are times when I see a little puppy or kitten I feel like bringing it home. Have a feeling that one day I will give in and get a little puppy. Who knows?
Just had to stop in and say HELLO friend. Things are about the same here with the weather being nasty but not bad. I guess I should love to fish in the winter, but that well never happen. How many horses do you`ll have to care for? I really have not done any thing worth talking about since the 1st of the year. Seems like I just can`t get going for some reason. No more deer hunting I guess. Need to get some more messages out so well check in later. Ponnette
Wanted to stop by and wish you a very Happy New Year.
I love the pictures of your paints. I love horses and had them for many year. I am also a big fan of Ian Tyson which I didn't see mentioned in your music favorites. I believe he has a big cattle ranch up in your area.
I, too, can remember the days when one didn't have to lock the door of one's home or car. Also remember thinking it was a treat to ride in the rumbleseat of my grandfather's Pontiac and waiting at the end of the driveway for him to get home from work and having a ride to the garage. . .all of about maybe 500 feet, if that. . . LOL. . .a much happier and gentler time.

In rembrance of your sister Trudy on her first day as an angel...
Souls do not disintegrate and die: Years pass and yet they do not fade away. Memories are like a distant star Pouring forth its light across the void. All our tears and laughter do not lie: Though we pass like dreams, our spirits stay, Held fast by love, which is just what we are, Yet in a form that cannot be destroyed.
Good-bye, kind year, we walk no more together, But here in quiet happiness we part. –Sarah Doudney (1841–1926)

I'm sending out a "New Year's Kiss" – To all the folks I know. Especially those who must stay home – That New Years Eve Party; they just can't go.
Like me, while they're at home tonight – Singing "Old Lang Syne". Counting blessing held so dear - And those we seem to pine.
They'll get to have that Year-End Kiss - Just like the party crowd. A silent kiss, from a friend – It just won't be as loud.
So please except my New Year's Kiss – For what it's meant to be. A "Cyber Kiss" that's fill with love – From good ole CeeCeeBee.
And tomorrow when the braggers tell – Their Midnight Kiss was fine. Just turn and say, with a big ole smile – "Me Too; I Sure Loved Mine" !!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR" From: CeeCeeBee December 31, 2008
