Two of my all time favorite movies are "Wings of Desire" and "This Property is Condemned".

I generally like intelligent romantic comedies, dramas, foreign films, and stuff from the late 60's/early 70's. I hate overly violent, action, and horror movies!

Bluegrass, Folk, World, New Wave, Pop/Alternative, Big Band, Easy Listening/Standards, New Age, Country (although I dislike a lot of modern stuff that sounds more pop than country), Renaissance, Baroque. Dislikes: rap, heavy metal, and stuff with lots of saxophone in it. As for classic rock - yeah I like it, but let's face it...I've heard all those songs a zillion times over the years and they've gotten real old.

Some favorite singers are kd lang, Nat King Cole, Billie Holliday, Suzanne Vega, Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, Carly Simon, Loreena McKinnett, Gordon Lightfoot, Leonard Cohen, James Taylor, Donovan, Janis Ian, Dido, Asteroids Galaxy Tour, Katy Perry, Labyrinth Ear, Lady Gaga, Buffy Saint-Marie, Enya, Adele, Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, Norah Jones, Sade, The Bird and the Bee, and Rosemary Clooney, among many others.

I am a voracious reader!!! I like romances (especially westerns), women's fiction, new age/metaphysical, and reference/trivia. Some of my favorite authors are Elizabeth Berg, Maeve Binchy, Fannie Flagg, Deepak Chopra, Michael Newton, and Neale Donald Walsch.
